Hey Ginger,
My memories of elan rise up in my dreams and sometimes in my everyday thoughts .
Those demon strings jerk open the vault that contains a walnut size ball of nuclear energy that is rage.Deep in the center of my chest .
I truly believe elan should be investagated for running a continueing criminal enterprise by the justice department
Afterall people in the army are being tried for the abuse that went on in the Iraqi prison .
In my opinion elan and it's henchmen (gottlieb ,kruglik ,zaretzky and mccann)did the samething only 30 years earlier.
Abuse is just that, abuse ,no matter how you try to sugarcoat it .It is evil .
Abuse as therapy ?That is downright oxymoronic !
I still feel that elan 's henchmen should spend the rest of their natural lives in prison for aiding and abetting elan in it's criminal activity .
I stand by my posts on this site.
And Ginger It will always be personal ,though it (elan and its henchmen ) don't occupy my mind all the time .How can it not be personal (?)

I would like to state for the record that every post that I have posted on the other elan dedicated site ,(within this fourum )by me is true to the best of my knowledge .
I also maintain that kruglik, gottlieb,mccann,and zarezky should be locked up for the rest of their natural lives .
elan as a corporation should be investagated for running a continueing criminal enterprise . After all I always thought it was against the law to abuse people (adults and children),and then make money off of it .
I was in elan from '74 to '76 what I saw and experienced was out right criminal .

sorry to bother you all ................i am also sorry that the elan site is is as vulger as it has become (i honestly did not know that as a moderator one could delete . )
I plan to try to clean it ,Ginger has some ideas that I would like to further explore .
now what I need assistance with is this . A former Assitant director at elan has contacted me not once but twice . Now in no uncertain terms I have asked him to not contact me after the first time .
this man was an abuser to me . I had a very disgusting and preverted experience with this person on a boat ,
I could not believe the gall that he had in contacting me inthe the first place ,and i explictly told him so and made it very clear that i did not want to ever hear from this ,in my opinion pathological, sociopathic,preverted freak .
he contacts me a second time ....I will not respond ...I want as i told him to put him in prison...
i am ashamed to be bring this to everyones attention ,what can i do am i alone in this type of thing .what can i do ? besides go vent on a shrink and thats gonna cost me money that i should not have to spend due to elan and this in my opinion freak .

Sorry elan was no commune it was and in my mind today a very dangerous cult . elans ability to brainwash to the nth degree makes it an even more dangerous place. All one has to do is look at the various postings on this site and the close the doors site (or any elan site for that matter) to see how elan has impacted people .
You see elan taught people to abuse people so that the abuser would learn to feel goood about themselves . Also the abusers were taught that the people being abused , deserved it and by abusing them you were making them better people .

I have read some very heavy accusations about Kruglik ,Roy and Rosenberg (I think I know Rosenberg :grin:ark hair ,thin face with many acne pock marks and an older fellow 24 plus years old in 76.Is this the same person that you all remember )He was at 6 as a resident when I was in elan (74 to 76)Meet him in 76 if its the same person . Dark Brooding man ?
Kruglik said he was a mongol Russian .He is not an Indian . I know him too darn well and thought he was a very sick person at one point (Chuck might agree with me ).
Since I feel that these are very heavy accusations , I would hope that you annon people will contact these people with your thoughts ( Complaints ):Buzz Kastuck Phone # (207 )624-6776 is an investigator that works for the Dept of Human services ,Education part
Yellow Light Breen (this is really the mans name ) # (207) 624-6620 . Be persistant he is a very hard man to get a hold of . He is the Top dog of the Education Dept .(the receptionist answers commisioners office .)
Let him know of these thoughts and your complaints .I do not have a way of verifying these accusations nor can I do anything about them (sorry ) They are serious enough that I hope you all will follow thru .

Anyone out there know about Obsidian Trails of Oregon ?
It was in the Registar Guard (the news paper of Eugene ,Oregon) in 2000 or 2001 a child died as a result of being restrained by having people sit on him .Wondering if anyone has heard of this place .

It appears that the media has been made aware of Elan .Yet N.B.C. cannot present an unbiased reporting of this place located in Poland Springs Maine.
Dan Abrams ,the legal analyst for nbc had a brother that was there during '74-'76 when things were really out of control.Allan Maraynes did a very flattering story on Joe Ricci for 60 minutes who now works for dateline.
Dateline and NBC refuse to expose Elan for the brutal and sadistic acts that were perpetrated by men that had absolute power over the residents.
These men were Joe Ricci ,Peter McCann, Jeffery Gottlieb,Martin Kruglik and Ken Zaretsky
The New Yorker(7-3-00) had an article by J.Tobin where Kruglik was quoted from the witness stand as saying that elan is not a brutal place .
Elan was a horribly sick , twisted and brutal place.
It would behoove these media organazations to do an unbiased reporting of Elan and to expose the crimes against humanity that these men executed against good decent human beings,instead of turning a blind eye and doing a grave disservice to society.
It is a shame that it took the murder investagation of M. Skakel to bring Elan to the publics attention ,and more shame on how these news organazations have handled Elan.
