Cindy the Who has finally been banned.
Cindy since we know you're reading this, tears streaming down your face, fist clenched in rage, it seemed appropriate to take a moment and say farewell.
No longer will you be allowed to post the same tired nonsense over and over again.
No longer will you be able to use this forum to lie to parents in order to earn yourself referal fees.
No longer will anyone on here ever have to sift through your garbage just to get to the truth.
No longer will people have to watch you derail pertinent conversations simply because youre afraid of the truth.
No longer will people be subject to your cry baby antics or martyr syndrome, no longer does anyone have to watch you avoid the facts or play any of your stupid games.
And while I'm sure youre sad and angry to be forced off, and are still in disbelife since you dont feel you or your kiddie prison pals are subject to other peoples rules, the fact is you are.
Before you disappear entirely I want to also thank you. I cant tell you how many PM's and emails I recieved from parents stating how they were considering sending their kid to a program, until they met you.
Thanks Cindy. All my love, oh and your daughter is still welcome to post here and tell the truth about how you subject her to abuse any time.
Please the rest of you take a moment and wish Cindy a fond farewell and let him know exactly what you think about him.

The Who did make fun of victims, and I did not like, or agree with that. I'm not sure he/she deserved to get banned though? It makes us a little like Struggling Teens, and how they silenced people.

I'm not sure I agree with this decision... but I can't say I'll miss him either. He made it a point of disrupting the forum, he insulted survivors, he impersonated/slandered others, he lied about what he said... etc etc etc...
The thing about banning him is this: Those who have not read his posting history could interpret this as what he was accusing us of: groupthink.

I would tend to agree that he was flooding the forum, however. He impersonated survivors, he argued with himself, he insulted himself, he created drama for the sake of disruption. This wasn't a person simply disagreeing with the "popular viewpoint". He derailed at least one of my threads, as he did with many others... He accused me of things, and when I asked him to back it up, he couldn't, and changed the subject... He did that hundreds more times elsewhere. He impersonated RB. He misquoted people habitually... I could go on and on and on but there is really no point.
If you read one or two of his posts they seem credible, even rational... however, if you read an entire thread, or even a few pages, you start to see his logic break down, and his purpose unfold. In my opinion, he relies on this, knowing that few parents or casual onlookers have time for an in-depth read (or have short attention spans and no attention to detail). I, personally, didn't see what the big deal was until I tried to argue with the guy and saw how he acted when he loses an argument.

This moron has been spamming and flooding for two years. I definitely had enough. Also, he has been attributing his nasty, callous and thoughtless comments to other posters by editing the heading. Seriously, the idea the RB would degrade a sexual abuse victim is laughable, but when TheWho tries to smear him by putting RB's name on TheWho's own posts while simultaneously accusing mods and admin of doing it, that's where the line needs to be drawn.
I feel "say what you want, own what you say" applies here.
This is not to mention that I do fully believe that TheWho was making money off parents coming here to seek information; roping them in and getting referral fees. If he wasn't getting paid for what he was doing here, then he's much, much sicker than I first estimated...
Besides, in two weeks' time, TheWho and ST both went down. I consider that a pretty good couple of weeks! Watching Lon take down one of his bread-and-butter referral mechanisms due to anti-propaganda posters from Fornits was priceless. We turned a referral machine into a liability with clear, concise and factual dialogue and he didn't like it so he took his ball and went home. This speaks volumes about his true purpose.

Cindy consistently claimed that he was merely providing a "differing opinion" on the issues, and that this somehow brought credibility to fornits.
Ginger has always been adament about allowing those differing opinions onto Fornits, even if she disagreed with them. This is what set fornits apart from other forums like ST or the HLA board.
Cindy however abused that privledge. He used fornits as a referal service for himself, and whatsmore he worked tirelessly to prevent any persons seeking real information about this industry from learning the truth. He was never interested in a real discussion, he just wanted to bury the truth under his garbage.
His banning was along time in coming but I think well deserved.
The only real loss is who are we now going to point to as those who seek to control prospective parents children?
Oh and the song reference was done on purpose. I hope all enjoy.

First of all The Who was banned for flooding. Not for trolling, not for lying, and not for derailling threads. I'm finding it a bit amusing that people are attempting to justify his ban based on incidents that apparently had no influence as to the decision for his ban.
Some of you are getting dangerously close to putting words into Ginger's mouth. I for one would like to hear from Ginger the exact sequence of events that lead up to her decision to ban.
Ginger if you could take a few moments to elaborate on the decision making process I'd be grateful. Given the hosting costs of Fornits I already have a feeling I know what lead to the ban, but I'd like to hear it from yourself.

Awesome post Robert and thank you for shedding some more light on TheWho's infantile behavior. Not that we really have needed anymore notice of his purile antics, but it does help to know that there is more of a history in this affair than some of us suspected.
Hopefully TheWho will have taken away from this the beginnings of what it will take for him to grow and into a responsible mature old man with a greater sense of civic responsibility. At the very least he will learn to be a bit more respectful and in control of his irrational behaviors.
Can he do this?

It's interesting that some of the same people that encouraged his nonsense by going on and on for nearly 300 pages of threads are now happy to see him gone as if their responses to him made any fuckin sense at all either. He agreed not to spam when he registered for his account. He violated that agreement. Forget the fact that he wasted bandwith by arguing with himself, forget that he abused survivors, forget that he attempted to impersonate himself for some reason and other posters as well. Forget that he liked to play games and pretend I and others had originated his comments, or that Deborah was "out to get him" and had edited his comments. Forget all of that, all of those things Ginger allows because despite his pity party and cry baby attitude, this is an open forum and even idiots like him are allowed to post.
What you shouldnt forget though is that he spammed, incessantly for months on end. He violated his user agreement and as a result was banned.
Even free speech has limits. Do you feel stifiled and censored because you can't shout "fire" in a crowded theater without suffering consequences?

I for one am perfectly satisfied with the decision. I am absolutely in favor of unbridled free speech, however we are not talking about preventing someone from expressing an opinion, but rather limiting the ability to use posts as a weapon against others. Just in the way that there is a difference between using propaganda to incite racial violence and expressing a racist epithet. Pulling an Imus is wrong, but shouldn't be punishable as a crime, whereas Hitleresque "go out and set fire to your local Jewish business" should be.

It was the worse month of my life… I was banned on June 2nd I believe and then word got out around corporate over the weekend and by Monday everyone knew (it was so humiliating) I think everyone from Aspen to Bain logged in that day June 4th, which was a record high for fornits with what 461 visits that night?
Anyway even before that they had me on a plane to visit them at Bain Corporate and I’ll tell you Aspen has had more influence over them since the merger than you would believe. Two guys met me at the airport. I told them I had a 2:00 with the board members and they said we were taking a little detour…. I ended up at this god forsaken boy scout camp 50 miles out where they made me hand over my fornits tee shirt and hat …. I’ll give you all the details later but basically I had to spend 2 weeks in the woods, there were 2 staff members and then 2 other guys in the same position as I was…both were from Mitt Romneys “campaign planning committeeâ€

That was my post he laughed at. Then he said i made it all up. That isn't enough to ban him. People, regulars included, are pretty mean here. I'm disgusted by the "outing" of ccm girl. I didn't name the program I was sexually abused at for precisely this possibility- that the info could be used to identify me. All of us can be tracked down and identified if someone really, really wants to put the effort into it. I thnk the person who outed her should be banned, though i know he won't. Ginger and Psy have a tough job here,and that would upset to many people.
Psych gives the correct and deserved reason why he was banned. Who Disrupted for the purpose of confusing casual posters, and destruction of conversation for regular posters. Who wasn't interested in arguing, or even trolling. Other trolls come and go. He was interested in nothing less than destroying the utility of the forum, and he largely succeeded. Thank you Ginger and psy for getting rid of this Scientologist style underhanded destroyer :blabla:

He was a meta-spammer. He spewed junk and negative information into rational discourse to derail it and make it utterly useless.
He was information chaff. He was an agent of entropy and he is now gone. I'm sure that somewhere, sugar is crystallizing out of some sweet tea and broken pottery is reassembling itself. :)

Yep, I second that.....The Who was a spammer and Ginger was well within her legal rights to ban he/she.
