DEA Agent, Talking to Students, Shoots Self in Leg
Tuesday, May 4, 2004

An agent of the Drug Enforcement Administration sent kids into hysterics and himself to the hospital after he failed to recall the gun safety lessons from his very first day of training. The unnamed agent was giving a gun safety presentation to about 50 adults and students organized by the Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association.

According to a police report, the agent demonstrated to the audience that his .40-caliber weapon was unloaded, and then shot himself in the thigh after releasing the slide.

"The kids screamed and started to cry," Vivian Farmer told the Associated Press. Farmer attended the presentation with her 13-year-old nephew.

"Everyone was pretty shaken up," Farmer said. "But the point of gun safety hit home. Unfortunately, the agent had to get shot. But after seeing that, my nephew doesn't want to have anything to do with guns."

This incident is the latest in a long string of DEA foibles that has included breaking down the doors of people not suspected of crimes, shooting innocent people, and arresting sick and elderly cancer patients. While we wish the agent in question a speedy recovery, the DEA should not be teaching any kind of safety.

Article 3

In the case of armed conflict not of an international character occurring in the territory of one of the High Contracting Parties, each party to the conflict shall be bound to apply, as a minimum, the following provisions:

1. Persons taking no active part in the hostilities, including members of armed forces who have laid down their arms and those placed hors de combat by sickness, wounds, detention, or any other cause, shall in all circumstances be treated humanely, without any adverse distinction founded on race, colour, religion or faith, sex, birth or wealth, or any other similar criteria.

To this end the following acts are and shall remain prohibited at any time and in any place whatsoever with respect to the above-mentioned persons:

Guys theres a new Trojan Virus thats spreading like widlfire thru e mail..
You dont even have to click the link in the e mail to get it..

I have a top notch firewall..and another anti virus program running on top of that and it still got through..

The one I got was Netsky virus...the other is known as Sassy...

The Virus arent really causing alot of damage but imbed themselves into your windows file..
so they are hard to get rid of if you dont disable your back ups first..

If you start going into a shutdown loop....
hit Alt Cntrl Del and go into your running processes and if you see anything running that has a series of numbers in the name such as 427643.ini ... click them and click end process.
This basically turns the virus off so that you can do what you need to get rid of it without your puter auto shutting off every 10 seconds..

Here Ill edit with links Im not good at explaining things

Stinger to remove virus http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/

instructions on disabling your windows shit before using stinger
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/av ... structions

By the way after you disable backups and get rid of virus dont forget to turn them back on.
