I have read some of your posts also and have not seen the administrators take action against you.

Fornitian administrators have beef with me?

Action against me for what?

Am I allowed to recount and testify to the truth ( vis a vis my experience )?

No ?

Yes?

Mark Hughes = dude who invented Herbalife. CEDU RS grad

Excerpt
When asked to discuss whether Syanon impacted The Education of Mark Hughes, Mel Wasserman replies that, in addition to Synanon techniques, he also used his own experiences in conventional therapy to mold his program. He also says that he was not a fan of Dederich, whose sessions could get brutal and assaultive. He was aiming for something warmer: "There was a lot of conflict between me and some of the people I hired from Synanon. They wanted to redo Synanon. I didn't want a place where we had so much power that people would pee in their pants when you walked by. Synanon was fear-based. Our work was feeling-based."

One aspect of CEDU that was reminiscent of Synanon that was reminiscent of Synanon was the school's money-making acumen. By the early seventies, Synanon had recycled its trippy, quasi-spiritual rehab techniques into a very successful fund-raising program. Synanon molded its members into an army of fund-raisers-called "hustlers" at the time-who went door to door from corporation to corporation, persuading people to hand over money to help keep addicts off the streets. In this spooky, sometimes scary period of revolution, such a project seemed pretty attractive to corporate squares, who shelled out big bucks. CEDU's students were encouraged to open their minds to letting the cash flow. "Wasserman was trying to develop what we had in Synanon-a hustling system where we would send out our own people to heads of companies and ask for money," says D.D. Harvey, a Presbyterian minister and former long-time Synanon member. It was this fund-raising mania that launched Mark Hughes.

It's a long article, CEDU and Mel are mentioned late in the piece. (For you fellow lazy bastards get your search cheat on "Ctrl + F" Cedu).

(Slide 12, 13, 14)

Unfortunately, I'm more realist than I am optimist. Hence, I'm an armagedonnist. I think fundamentalists will get their hands on a dirty bomb before we collectively come to our senses and quit killing each other in the name of god.

I found plenty of merit in Obama's inagural speech however the armagedonnist in me is disappointed by some of his statements.

"We will not apologize for our way of life".

So we're putting it all on red and hoping technology will solve our unsustainable lifestyle?  (five per cent of the world's population - using 23 per cent of its energy. Our christian god is the only 'real' god).

and for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannot be broken; you cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you.
Really? You want to lock horns with people that cover their one year old children in fake blood and mutilate themselves with knives to celebrate a mythical 6th century figure?

For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus -- and nonbelievers.

Thanks for the window dressing but when it comes to brass tacks we are a Christian nation.

To the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect. To those leaders around the globe who seek to sow conflict, or blame their society's ills on the West: Know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy.
Well played. After the next attack we can reference this diplomatic effort to justify our next unilateral military campaign.

To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist.

As I said, I'm an optimist, but for fuck's sake - 'wrong side of history'? if history has taught us anything it's that we are cave men whose overwhelming fear of death has rendered us hyper-consumptive babbling idiots. We're driven by our fascination with prophecies, that are provided by invisible anthrophomorphic beings to the 'chosen few' . Above all we've proven to ourselves we simply can not resist pillaging the village over the next hill in the name of 'the almighty invisible power'.

What we're on the wrong side of is this fairy tale we call religion. The only real hope for 'world peace' will begin with a collective understanding and agreement to indefinitely separate and suspend all forms of religious doctrine when it comes to determining how we're all going to play fair in the big sandbox.

Welcome to CultyGroupthink similarity speed round.

Ok go......

Wife says Haggard told her of struggles years ago.
(1. evidence of crappy relationship skills coming from divine leaders teaching you how to give them all your money and feel guilty about an imagined laundry list of crapola. She swept it under the carpet and did nothing sensible about it.)

CHICAGO (AP) — Former evangelical pastor Ted Haggard's wife says she knew about his struggles with same-sex attraction for years and felt he was "winning the battle" before a scandal involving a male prostitute triggered his downfall in late 2006.
(2. Why the fuck is sex described with war terminology? Well at least we're winning the war on terror).

Gayle Haggard makes the remarks in an appearance with her husband on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" to air Wednesday. She said she was shocked when Haggard first told her the truth about the allegations against him.

"The first words out of my mouth were, 'Who are you?'" she said, according to a publicity release issued Tuesday by Harpo Productions.
(3. Holy cedu speak! Perhaps he should go through his truth propheet again and discover his real chrome ball with a queer cadbury center)

However, Gayle Haggard also said her husband told her early in their 30-year marriage that he "struggled with some thoughts."
(4. Holy cedu speak - make it stop! Thought struggling? You mean "I" was telling "me" that 'I on I action' was hot?)

"I felt it was the thing that could destroy Ted if he gave in to it," she said. "So I prayed for him and I felt as though he was winning the battle."
(5. Doctrinius absiridtitus!!! Don't give into I. Talk to imaginary cloud person to help in the war against same sex boners)

Haggard, 52, resigned as president of the National Association of Evangelicals and New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colo., after the male prostitute went public. Haggard confessed to "sexual immorality."
(6. Can anyone say Caroline and Randy? Prodigal children become power staff become child molesters?)

The scandal widened in recent days with disclosures that Haggard also admitted to an "inappropriate" relationship with a church volunteer, Grant Haas, who was 22 at the time.
(7. Swashbuckling is inappropriate.  Absolutely! Well, except in prison and unintentional contact during a 3 way with a broad. Didn't every single rap promote "inappropriate" relationships amongst peers/staff? How else shall one describe forced group disclosure of prior sexual acts??? )

Haas told KRDO in Colorado Springs that Haggard performed a sex act in front of him and sent him illicit text messages. He informed New Life Church shortly after the scandal broke, and the two parties reached a settlement in 2007 that included a confidentiality agreement. Haas went public as Haggard is heavily promoting an HBO documentary about his time in exile.

Time in exile? They fagfixed him real good? Excorcised satan right out of him? This will be a new frontier in evangelical insanity...Metro-born again-evangelism

Open Free for All / Teen defends evangelist Alamo : Web video
« on: December 31, 2008, 11:29:10 PM »
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090101/ap_ ... hild_abuse

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – State officials on Wednesday asked a judge to take steps to remove from the Internet a leaked video in which a teenage follower of Tony Alamo defends the jailed evangelist and says he would never commit the sex crimes of which he is accused. In a more than two-hour interview, the girl told a child welfare official that Alamo's hands and words toward heaven worked miracles. She said he never touched her and knew of no one who had been molested by him.

"He would never do such thing. That's a sin. He wouldn't be a pastor. He would be dirt," said the girl, who is in protective state custody. "He would be nothing if he did that. He would go to hell."

A video of the September interview, conducted a day after FBI agents and Arkansas State Police raided Alamo's ministry in Fouke, found its way to the Internet late last month.

The state Department of Human Services sent a request Wednesday to a Miller County judge in an effort to get the video removed. State law requires that juvenile court proceedings be kept confidential.

Julie Munsell, a DHS spokeswoman, said it appeared that a family member passed the video along to a Web site called Inquisition Update with Tom Friess. "We're asking that the parties in the case make efforts to remove it from the site and any other videos like it," she said.

A message left at a telephone number registered in Friess' name in Perry, Iowa, was not returned. A man claiming to be Friess in a chat room on his Web site said he was "not going to participate in another mainstream media hatchet job to smear Tony Alamo and the members of his Bible-believing community."

The girl is among 36 children associated with Alamo ministries in Fort Smith and Fouke who have been seized by state officials. A court order lists the names and possible addresses of 126 children who could be at risk of abuse from the church, though officials acknowledge more could be out there.

Alamo, 74, faces charges of violating the Mann Act, a federal law that bans carrying women or girls across state lines for "prostitution or debauchery, or for any other immoral purpose." He has pleaded not guilty.

At a custody hearing over some of his followers' children, Alamo said he "spiritually" married and divorced multiple women who continued to live with him. He also has said children will have sex after puberty and should be quickly married off to avoid living in sin.

In her interview, the girl repeatedly said she wanted to return home to her parents and the ministry.

She told the welfare official that she believes anyone can marry after reaching puberty. However, she said she hadn't gotten married yet.

"The law says you can't get married until you're 18. So, that's what we do," the girl said, then sighed. "People who want to get married have to wait."

The girl said Alamo had the power to heal the sick.

"Someone with AIDS in the church, he prayed over them, they were healed," the teen said. "For him to get an answer like that from God, you know he's not going to be sinning. I trust him. I believe everything he says."

The girl described a life of service in Alamo's ministry, working in the church offices and heading out to multiple states as part of "tracting crews" to spread literature. The church's messages include claims of "evil one-world government agents claiming to be U.S. agents" and federal agents describing the Branch Davidian siege in Waco, Texas, as a "turkey shoot," she said.

She said she and her family attended church every day and twice on Sundays. On Friday nights, girls in the ministry get a respite and gather together for a movie night, watching old Alfred Hitchcock movies, episodes of "The Andy Griffith Show" or films about the Bible, she said.

"Sometimes, I think if only everybody lived the way we lived the way we live in our ministry, the world would be perfect," she said. "They wouldn't have any crimes, any crime scenes. Nobody would ever be hurt."

The girl raised her voice once in the interview as she talked about why three of her brothers left the church.

"They left because they wanted to," she said. "Some people think that we're held, but no. They left. We didn't want them to — my family didn't want them to — but they left."

Alamo pays for bus tickets for those wanting to leave the ministries, she said. However, those who leave after hearing the word of God often can't be saved again, she said.

"I wish (her brother) didn't leave, but he chose to leave, he chose to backslide," the girl said. "We could (reach out to them), but why should we? They believe totally differently now."

Alamo remains held without bond, awaiting a February trial on the federal charges.

Any Fornisticators that listen to Howard Stern ??

Pete Wentz (husband of ashlee simpson and bassist of Fallout boy) was one of the main guests today. He briefly mentioned his parents shipped him off to a boot camp. (Too bad Joe Francis hasn't done the same during his numerous appearance on the stern show).

Pete plays bass in the band Fall Out Boy so Howard asked him how he got into that stuff. Pete said he started out early and he was diagnosed with ADD and he was also bipolar. He said that he was sent to boot camp after a therapist suggested it. He said that experience was pretty messed up because he was just a goofy kid and he was in there with kids who were like Michael Myers from ''Halloween.''

I assume Pete was referring to this boot camp? http://www.bethelacademy.com/

This is awesome on several different levels.

Some same-sex marriage supporters are urging people to "call in gay" Wednesday to show how much the country relies on gays and lesbians.

I'd do it if I worked for a corporation. My boss knows my sense of humor so he'll tell me to fuck off, kick me in the nether reigons and tell me to work double time.

Mainstream news is driving me crazy. They need to be regulated.

I'm already sick of hearing about 'how far we've come' by electing Obama.

I heard a statistic earlier today that approximately 75% of african americans in california voted yes on prop 8.

 so

We're not racist anymore

but

we do hate another segment of the population?

I'm also the first person to round up or round down and generalize. But the man isn't black. His mother is lilly white. He's a human being for fuck's sake.

            Seperation of church and state.

I'll bet the mormons got a boner when they read this article yesterday.

CONTEMPT OF COURT?      How bout contempt of Humanity

State ready to defy judge on prison hospitals

10-27) 17:18 PDT SAN FRANCISCO -- The lawyer representing California in a lawsuit over prison health care said Monday that state officials aren't ready to comply with a federal judge's order to turn over $250 million for new hospitals for inmates, despite the possibility of a contempt-of-court order against Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

U.S. District Judge Thelton Henderson ordered Schwarzenegger and state Controller John Chiang on Oct. 8 to tell him how soon they would provide the money, the first installment in an $8 billion construction plan that a court-appointed manager drew up to raise the prison health system to constitutional standards.

Henderson said at an earlier hearing that he was prepared to hold Schwarzenegger and Chiang in contempt, with fines against the state of as much as $2 million a day, unless they turn over $250 million in prison funding that the Legislature has already approved. But at today's hearing in San Francisco, Deputy Attorney General Daniel Powell said the state is not legally required to follow such an order and has no immediate plans to do so.

"This court has no authority to order construction of prisons," Powell told Henderson. He said state officials must review the construction plans, decide whether they comply with legal restrictions and seek specific approval from the Legislature.

If the state maintains that position, Henderson said, he'll go "full speed ahead" with contempt proceedings. Later in the day, he ordered state officials to transfer $250 million to the prison health system's federal overseer by Nov. 5 or face a contempt hearing a week later.

"Despite the progress that has been made, the health care system remains in a state of crisis," the judge said at the hearing.

Henderson took control of the prison health system in 2006, saying evidence in an inmate lawsuit showed that inadequate medical care was killing at least one prisoner a week and that state officials had shown themselves incapable of complying with the constitutional ban on cruel and unusual punishment.

Clark Kelso, a law professor appointed by Henderson to manage the system until it is returned to state control, has submitted a plan to build seven health centers for 10,000 prisoners, improve some existing facilities and construct a site for dental care.

The plan contemplates funding from state bonds, but the Legislature has repeatedly rejected Schwarzenegger's request for bond funding for prison hospitals. Henderson said in his Oct. 8 order, however, that the initial $250 million that Kelso needs to begin construction in February is available from a prison expansion bill that lawmakers approved last year.

Powell said today that Kelso hasn't given state officials enough information about what he plans to do with the money. Once Kelso spells out his proposal, Powell said, state finance and prison officials will determine whether it complies with the law - a reference to a federal statute that allows judges to order only the minimum improvements needed to protect prisoners' constitutional rights.

The Legislature would also need to approve Kelso's plan, Powell said. "I don't think the state has ever considered construction of prisons without the involvement of the Legislature," he said.

Kelso said afterward that he had given state officials all the information he had.

Powell's stance angered James Brosnahan, an attorney who represents Kelso. Brosnahan said the state had taken part in Kelso's planning, approved his proposals months ago and had no authority to withhold funding.

"They're in contempt of this court. There's no other word for it," Brosnahan told Henderson. "Unless the state gets their act together, some prisoners will die."
