"Confidentiality", the way a child molester tells the kid not to tell because they will get in trouble.

As has been pointed out often on this board, WWASP and other Programs have demonstrated that they have no problem violating their so-called confidenitality with their inmates.

They use confidentiality as an excuse to hide both their tactics and to keep their prisoners isolated from the outside world. To keep the media out as well.

If you sue your abusers or attempt to have them prosecuted, you better know that they will gleefully use anything you have told them while you were imprisoned against you.

Religious freedom does not mean the right to beat and rape children. You can believe anything you want but if you hurt some kid in the name of god I am going to hunt you down in the name of god.

The only entitlement issue is the one that parents in this country seem to have regarding the affection of their children. If they don't want to hug you and they prefer the company of their friends to a parent with a new spouse every other year than who can blame them?

I know lets send them off to be beaten, brainwashed, raped, starved, and tortured. That will sure fix the problem.

This guy believes American democracy is Satanic and we are funding him. C'mon conservatives you don't need money that badly.

It is one thing to hold opposing views on what America should be like. I can respect a conservative, liberal, green, libertarian, or social democrat because their views are based on what they think is best for our nation but people like Moon want to tear up the constitution and install themselves as world dictator.

There is a big difference between the Loyal Opposition and a violent Moony takeover.

I have often said I don't have much sympathy for most of the parents who sent their kids away. They were most likely duped, and most of them do love their kids, but it takes two to tango and it really is the parents who don't acknowledge their role in contributing to their family problems that send their kids away. I think in a lot of ways this industry exists because of the old threat of "let me send you to live with someone else and see how you like it there"

Of course when the someone else is more than just a strict relative who lives in the middle of nowhere, and turns out to be a cult where torture sessions are measured in months the parents get all regretful and want sympathy.

The other thing that bugs me is that almost all the parents always say that sending their kid away was the hardest thing they ever did. I would take that to mean that they did not feel good about it when they did it and a parent who does not feel comfortable leaving their kid in someone else's care should not have done it.

People need to be a little more independent and parents need to resist peer pressure a bit.

Just a thought, if taking care of animals, enforced christianity, and household chores make one behave better how come methamphetamine is so big in rural areas?

I don't watch tv news but I am curious about this Texas family everyone is talking about. What did they say?

Well I think California as of late is the only state doing a good job in this area that I have heard of. Perhaps other states should adopt their laws in this area.

Any program that is shut down and then reopened illegally should result in jail time for the owners period. Preferably 5 years minimum. That will discourage the practice.

In addition any program that is caught operating without a license and their owners/operators and staff members should be banned from obtaining a license for no less than 5 years. That will discourage the common practice of hiding until caught and then applying for a license while kids are still being tortured inside.

Any parent who returns their child or teen to a program from which cps has had to remove them due to abuse, neglect, or lack of a license should be subject to parental rights termination and jail time.

It should be completely illegal to send any minor to any program outside the United States with penalties for violation including jail time and termination of parental rights.

The Troubled Teen Industry / DORM PARENTS?

There are no qualifications. No licenses, no certifications, no education. They don't do background checks, (as evidenced by the number of abusers they have hired over the years)

I would be willing to bet that the place is probably one of the CEDU programs, (now owned by Brown Schools)

The Northwest location and the celebrities as well as I think I have read this story before with the program name included.

Update: Now I know that it is definitely a CEDU program because a CEDU affiliated escort did rape one his female employees by using the sedative drugs they give to parents to put their kid out with the night before the abduction.

Yeah if WWASP ever sued me I would just hire the most unscrupulous lawyer I could find and let him turn the discovery process into a nightmare as every document and record in their posession was publicized.

The Troubled Teen Industry / did wwasp close another school?
« on: September 20, 2003, 04:14:00 AM »
Obviously they knew the law in Calfornia required a license. Obviously they thought they could sneak by unnoticed as their strategy has been in every other location they have set up shop in.

And when you close a program it is a tremendous financial loss. They did not just say oh we need a license and need to follow rules lets close. No the real fact is that the State of California has heard of WWASP and its savagery and they said get a license or be in contempt of court and we will lock you up. Force is the only thing that WWASP understands so minus the threat of imprisonment and multi million dollar fines they will not just back down when noticed by the law.

58
Actually the substance of the allegation is for the police to decide, the facility and most members of its staff are required to report any allegation or evidence of child abuse ( which is almost comical since the facility is the source of that abuse). Failure to do so can result in prison time.

Basically that means that if a kid has bruises, appears malnourished, or is mysteriously injured it has to be reported. Since the staff are the ones inflicting these injuries obviously they are not going to turn themselves in.

Maybe it was not reported because WWASP sees very little wrong with rapes within their programs since it is just one more way to break the kids down. The only downside for wwasp is that allegations of rape are more likely to generate widespread publicity than allegations of food deprivation and physical abuse.

The Troubled Teen Industry / Brown Schools in the News Again-Sexual Abuse

Hmm multiply the cost of a professional therapy session (100-200 dollars an hour) times 52 weeks a year for the rest of the girl's estimated life span and then multiply that figure by 10-50 and you come up with fair damages and reimbursement.

Miniumum of over 4 million in therapy costs alone over the girl's lifetime. Thanks brown schools, you just messed up another kid for life.

60
Another issue may be whether ivy ridge violated NY law by not reporting the rape to the authorities and handling it in house (ie. burying it). Since the girl was obviously under 18, the rape must be reported in a lot of states or the adults who fail to report which would include the job descriptions of the staff there can face jail time.
