Maybe that would be me?  I live in SF.  Today is the first time I've looked at or posted to this board in many months.

Straight, Inc. and Derivatives / Weather
« on: June 16, 2003, 03:52:00 PM »
It's cold and foggy here in the summer.  The inland heat draws the cold, moist Pacific air in and if you're here on the coast the sun sometimes doesn't come out for a week or two.  The temps range from the 50s at night to the 70s in the day.  In the winter it just rains.  I kinda miss the heat of the south.

I guess I shouldn't be all that offended since I got 12 of 16 right.... I figured it was all in the grimace.   ::bandit::

Straight, Inc. and Derivatives / drugs
« on: June 03, 2003, 05:07:00 PM »
How do you all feel about drugs in general now?  We all know about how they were demonized in Straight, and are demonized now in the media and by the federal government, but what is your personal experience?  Looking back I've done my share, and I still use certain ones on occasion.  I regret some of the things I did, because really they had no use other than as a party drug, but others I totally do not regret one bit (i.e. certain psychedelics) and will do again.  I think it's every adults choice whether or not to be allowed to do certain "drugs".  What do you think?

Straight, Inc. and Derivatives / revolt in south america
« on: May 29, 2003, 02:01:00 PM »
Did anyone else read about that "behavior modification" school in south america, where the kids revolted the other day?  AWESOME!  Imagine how they must have felt, the local authorities came in and told them they were free to run.  The staff tried to beat the kids into submission.  But the kids won!

What was the name of that place?

Sex raps were the worst, most definitely.

Thinking back, it's amazing that those of us here are still functioning in society.

Good thing you can still buy ROLLING PAPERS, or MAKE YOUR OWN pipe out of almost any available material.  This crap makes me angry more because they are spending our tax money for no good reason!  It is all a scare tactic to make US citizens fear the current administration's power.

Are they going to control every aspect of our lives?  Destroy every pot plant?  Confiscate all glassware, tubing and piping and/or make it a misdemeanor/felony to own/purchase?  Tell us that we are not intelligent/informed enough to make any decisions other than how to max our credit cards?

This is truly the dumbing down of America.
