I escaped kids by diving through a window(sorry about the window Brian) at around 2:30 - 3 am in a pair of heart polka dotted boxers, and walked across the george washington bridge.

My father and stepmom would have nothing to do with me, so I stayed with friends until I turned 18, and then my mom took me in.  About a year later, I reconciled with my dad and stepmom.

I think one of the cruelest things about kids was the way our intellectual abilities were arrested.  Taking the S.A.T.'s is a scary proposition after not bein' able to freakin' read for over a year.

Wow.  I remember when that happened.
I remember you, now as well, thinking about it.  Glad you're doing well.

I remember going back to college post-Kids and it was almost surreal.  Hell, even today, most things seem surreal as a result of the warped outlook we adopted (albeit not by choice) from Kids.

Kim, you rock.  You know you do because I've told you.
I know you're making the right decisions.
Call me once in a while and let me know you're OK.

One: Your question doesn't provide enough information to formulate an answer.
Two: Out of respect for their anonymity, I would refer you to any website and contact that webmaster.

However, I will say that the webmaster for http://http://www.kidsofelpaso.com, which I mentioned in an earlier post, is definitely not a she.

"I take no offense to that.  Have you seen the picture when people post anonymously, they have a bag over there heads. That's what I meant. I thought it would be funny if I put it so bluntly. I think most people that do that is because they are afraid of something, I know I was. Like the first response I was afraid that someone might have a bad remark towards me, but I was ready for it.       Who are you? Where were you at?

It wasn't that I didn't understand what you meant.  I was just making light of something that we, and only we would understand.
Most of us have BEEN there at some point under Newton's reign...

No, but I've heard the name.
Your best bet would be to contact the webmaster at http://http://www.kidsofelpaso.com.
He seems to know the most about the most people from El Paso.

Iknew her in El Paso as she was there before NJ. I am having difficulty deciding if this is the same or a different person.  It seems like if I squint and stand on my head under a full moon, I can make this person out to be her.  Those that knew her in Jersey may better be able to tell if this is the Erin that we knew, thanks in advance for your help!

Is this her???

I was in KoEP as well as KoNJ.
No, it's not the same person.

I know how you feel, man.

I'm lucky to have only spent 19 months in Kids (9 in El Paso, 10 in Bergen Cnty).  So many others with two years.. three... five... seven...  thirteen.
That's scary, man. I lost a year and a half. Some lost a childhood.  A few lost an entire lifetime.

Because the webmistress has been busy as shit and hasn't had time to do a lot of updating to the site.

Shoot her an email with the names.  She'll dadd them.

I get that feeling back every time Ihave to take a roadtrip for work, which is often.
I'm also fortunate to live in Northern California and my road trips take me on some gorgeous drives to Lake Tahoe, Monterey, Napa Valley, up the coast to Humboldt County, and so on.
We're not talking the 20 minute jaunts to Starbucks or the grocery store.  theser are a couple hours of solitude, my thoughts and some of the most breathtaking scenery this state has to offer.

I relax, listen to tunes, sometimes smoke a joint and wonder at everything around me, taking in the wonderment that is this planet we live on.

I actually get to look out the window on the car ride.

How many of these don't have relationships with their families, and how many stupid parents still support their adult kids by being apart of this whole farce?  "

Remember that intelligence has nothing to do with it, but the ability to perceive and understand reality.
Newton is a master of his brainwashing techniques.  He perfected them in Straight, and was taught by other masters of the craft.

Yeah, I suppose that a certain amount of the blame falls upon his continual followers, as they allow their minds to align with his, but ultimately it's Newton who started the process.

What a bunch of bullshit.
You're suppsoed to cease & desist WHAT?  Operating a forum?

As a forum operator, you're libel for NOTHING that the contributers to teh forum (other than self) say in said forum.  So if someone mentioned one former client's name & the program they were with, it's not your fault.

Any legal action PURE (or whoever) is threatening is unfounded.  Don't worry about it and keep on keepin' on, girl!

You're kidding right?

1) I know who actually maintins this forum and that they aren't going to let that happen.

2) People have free will and it has nothing to do with killer whales in captivity.  Read some works by Jon Stuart Mill and you might understand that it's not your (or anyone else's) place to tell people what to do or not do.

3) Personally, I'd WANT to be included in a lawsuit against the Newtons.  At this point, a piece of his pie would be a delicious dessert.
