I am curious. SAFE has a staffer (counselor)named MS Beasley, I saw her at the protest on June 12. Which means she is still on staff.  Wondering if this is the one and same. She was in STARIGHT. She is tall, large frammed lady.

Just wondering if SAFE has changed as Brian Seeber has stated, can the public attend open meetings? Help me to understand why the public  can not go into OPEN meetings. And most of the visotrs are escorted out before MIC TALKS began, why is that?

I often wondered if this was such a fantastic program, why wasn't there waiting lists. In any qualified true, honest drug rehabs there is usually a wating list. Why are parents asked to donate money, why are they asked to recruit clients, why about half are from Maryland and out of state?

Also if this is a loving program why can't parents love their child? Instead they are asked to berate, humiliate and bring their child to tears in front of others. The angrier the parent gets in the MIC TALKS the better the praise they receive afterwards.

ANd if the parent did not get angry enough, that parent got stood up and reamed from the group and commenced parents. I for one would never scream and yell at my when he was sick. Imagine your child puking and you yell and scream, I am sure that would stop the puking right? Or if he had a fever of 102, and I would scream  it would bring it back to normal. Then when I was done screaming and the child was brought ot tears I would say "Luv you".

Thanks Ginger! We definitly will use it of course havee to make some changes. I would like to make folks aware of the now conferences & SAFETY.NET and the lawsuit aginst SAFE.

We want to copy the WAMI video of SAFE and have it ready to hand out, can anyone help with this? ANd signs signs signs. We will make up some but if everyone could make one for themselve and an extra maybe for the unexpected supporters.

Again it is July 12at SAFE in Orlando. A map & directions will be posted soon. Sammie, Kim M, and I are meeting tonight to try and put the icing on. Parents are to arrive at SAFE at 6:00 p.m. They start strolling in around 5:30 a few before but not many.

Just a reminder that the July 12 picket is a SHHHHHHH. The July 18 picket will be announced by Wes publicly (am I correct here Wes).

Thus SAFE will know we will be there the 18 and more than likely cancel all activities, not certain but I would highly suspect so or at the very least get the commenced and current parents out there for pro-SAFE.

They will be expecting us on the 18. The July 12 protest will catch them with their pants down. Always the threat of a leak but we will try our darndest to keep the lid tight.

Until the date is concrete, I want to just update on what I have learned thus far. Sammie is incredible. She is looking into a potential bus so we can all ride together up to SAFE and for group rates on hotels for those who want to stay over and picket perhaps the next day. But I am still leaning toward also July 12 so we can get to the parents.

Kim M has offered to have T-shirts printed up. Costs is not set yet are looking anywhere between $10-$15. The proceds Kim can explain more to you. Kim can you please post what you wrote me it was great info. about the Shirts. What a great plan, Kim thanks so much.

And with that comes what do we have printed? One slogan so that it is recognized nationally, and what would that slogan be. Or do we want specific slogans for specific protests. I think a national slogan worn at any protest would be the more postive way to get our cause & name out there.

And for any of the picketers please let that coordinator of that area know if you plan to be there so we can get a head count. I am one of the coordinators targeted at SAFE in Orlando. Also Wes, maybe we should send out a list of the coordinators for each site.

I for one want to picket both July 12 & 18.

I have a question here should we wait for the SAFE picket on July 18th?  We were going to schedule July 12 at SAFE because it is Parent weekend and more parents will be in town as that is a mandatory weekend for them to be there. I would like you thought son this before we make July 12 a definite date.

I just caught walked in on a report on Tampa news last night regarding mandatory drug testing. They had interviewed students and a parent. Of course all was pro mandattory drug testing.The students are so innocent they do not even have a clue how a right has been taken from them.
