The National Geographic photo is quite shocking!Its a full on front color view of session of motivation.There are beltlooping photos in that issue also.
What about OTHER photos?
Was the Fager photo taken by the media or is it from a personal collection?
There must have been news cameras in a group or open meeting at some time or another.News papers could have taken photos.Did staff ever take photos of group?
Believe it or not,even though "motivating" was a constant part of being in program,those pictures bring back vivid memories of the mechanics of the group and how it worked.
Any evidence of these places belongs to ALL of us and should be treated just like the relics at a Concentration Camp Museum.

Now I have seen only 2 photos of group sessions.One was in National Geographic and the other at www.thestraights .com (although enhanced and altered from the original negative by the placement of a Chinese flag,funny I dont remember the Chinese flag in my program)These photo show "motivation session" taking place DURING GROUP.I dont remember ANY PHOTOS being taken during the program.Are there any other photos of group sessions???These photos are very powerful images to TEACH OTHERS what it was like to be there.My question is:Are there any other (un altered)photos of Group session or parking lot activities?(I want to use them to teach others.)
PS:I take issue with people altering EVIDENCE from program.This CHINESE FLAG rubs me wrong. I try to "TEACH" about Straight and these "altered Chinese Flag photo" at the FAGER website just confuses people.There is a good photo of Group Session to use as a TEACHING TOOL but for the political views of the Fagers.I UNDERSTAND the similarities of Chinese thought reform schools and our beloved program,but this is not conveyed through this RARE photo of a LIVE GROUP SESSION.The photo SEEMS to be "anti-china" even though this is not the case.What is more powerful than a PHOTOGRAPH of live session???Maybe a sound recording or a videotape.I have seen but 2 photos available through public forum and only ONE on the web,too bad I cant use it without explaining the Chinese Flag bit.Just another stumbling block on the way to teaching people about the TRUTH.

The NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC MAGAZINE photos from the 80's.Please post a link to these photos.The "motivation session" photo is quite shocking.Someone in St Petersburg has this magazine.Please SCAN and POST these photos.

No I did not think the others were "druggie scum",however I did not feel that I was like the Alcoholics and heavy drug users.I resent being compared to them but I was not convinced of this by program>I simply felt then that I did not belong there and that my parent had beed duped in to placing me there.Today I asked my mother about the details of my departing the program and she said that if our family DID have more money then I would have stayed longer (she said program never pressured her for money).Some people go with the motions to get out.It was hopeless for me to advance phases but I do believe what I was doing was "parroting" the program language.No I did not fall for the druggie scum bit but I did and still do believe that there extremely troubled 17 to 21 yr olds (alcoholics)and then the innocent little 12 yr old brothers and sisters of the alcoholics.I just knew from the first moment that the program was a sham and I could never be a part of it,but they got to my head with the doctrine.

The "straights" claim a need for secrets because they are lacking some kind of insurance to protect them from lawsuits because of the powerful people they challenge in court.That is thier current "deep dark secret".Some of those same people who claim this need for descretion have tried to use my deep dark secret and PRY my real name out and get me to print it here.They have begun to ues MY "deep dark secret" in a way to intimidate me from posting here.Thats real dirty!!!I can understand the need for "real names" when giving testimonials here as TRUE LIFE STORIES of being in programs.But just for the sake of pacifying some "e-ranter",I think it is very low to request,and even guess IN PRINT my true identity.If you want to know my name then invite me to meet in person.I do not want to hide my identity but if I want it printed here then I will print it.If you had a real life experience with me then please talk about it here and use my name,but to "cut to the chase" so to speak, and fess up to a "post/reply" that is no good reason to say my name.I am an ACTION oriented person and I think my original reply "stop whining and go visit her in jail" is apropriate.

Did you ever see a misbehaver?The kind that never got off of 1st phase?
I am believe that,even though I was all the time on 1st phase,that thier doctrine was getting through.(Consider the doctrine of hurting others so you can progress).I saw many fluctuate between phases,today on 5th phase,tomorrow on 1st phase,etc,etc.So there I was just waiting for you to shed a tear in "rap".Then I would not "wait to be picked" in order to humiliate you in group,I am just saying when I want to say.I was believing the doctrine,participating,surrendering to the program BUT NEVER BEHAVE.My favorite behaviors were -pissing off parents by being smarter than them and getting kicked out of thier homes,face kicking,spitting on 7th phasers,constantly requiring restraints,etc,etc.
 I NEVER had any kind of privilege and I was daily beat up in some way (I was not a big person so it was difficult for me to fight back BUT I DID)but I still think that I was in some way "falling under the spell".I knocked some guys teeth out when he was trying to crank my arm behind the pew (thats right,wooden pews,not a proper plastic chair)and I think that was the final straw that got me out.MY QUESTION:Do you think a person that NEVER made it past 1st phase could still be under the spell,BELIEVING the doctrine and feeling that they were PART of the group?
