Title: 84 and Broward move
Post by: SLIM123 on June 03, 2009, 11:41:21 AM
Does anyone remember the move. It was sad to leave the old building for the last time. I was at the Seed for 6 months when we left. i drew a picture in great detail of the 84 Seed and i still have it. Remember the flag pole and the path to the gate. i would listen to the raps so hard that often i missed to see the cars pull up,lol. The Seed on Broward was very nice too. It was like a spot of home. Just a pinch of land but it was ours. i loved it. Geesh, Its been so long ago. i tried to find it on google earth but no luck. i dont know the address. Im sure Seth remembers moving the piano,i think he helped. i wish i had taken a jar of dirt or somthing, lol. That would have been cool.
PS. This is SLIM from 1997-89. Id love to here from everyone or anyone. Remember, Tall, skinny and Howard be thy name,lmao....

I had been gone for a while when the seed moved from SR 84, but happend by after the main building had been taken down - during the road work.

I got a wooden sign from the back gate out to the ball field - (near the kitchen).  The main building was already gone. I think I still have it somewhere.

It seems to me that in the last days of the seed, the group havning been whittled dow to a  bunch of people that had nowhere to go.I guess it must have been really sad. After a few years in the seed,How would you go out on your own amongst the druggie masses. They were the real victims. A piece of dirt ,from the seed, missing the good times?

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?

You want a piece of the seed? I think the old morgan  yacht building is still in St. Pete

I still can't find a south florida newspaper archive that mentions the old man( in life or death) anywhere?
Somebody, somewhere went to great lengths to erase  this guy from public record.
