The Troubled Teen Industry / Atlanta Creative Loafing up Sembler's ass

Get the fuck out of my city Mel Sembler! Don't fuck with Atlanta!

People should vandalize any developments put up in their town by Mel Sembler. Smash the windows, spray paint the walls (with anti-str8 slogans), spill corrosive chemicals in the halls, set fire to them, etc. etc.

Show your "love" for Mel and have fun with it! Get creative!

Open Free for All / Health Coverage Dilemma
« on: August 26, 2007, 12:57:02 PM »
I got set up via the internet for health insurance with Blue Cross after I passed out momentarily (and then vomited) from food poisoning a couple months ago... My mom convinced me to let her sign me up for it while I lay there feeling like shit. They sent a bunch of stuff in the mail which I didn't open (i was busy, and figured they'd at least need a signature to actually set me up) until later.. anyway, I found out that it was due on the 3rd of August! I tried to call them, but could not get a fucking human being on the phone... :flame:

Now I'm hesitant to pay for it because:

A. I have this irrational fear of them trying to screw me somehow b/c it's so late. (Probably unfounded but you never know, do you?)

B. I don't really want another goddam bill to pay every month.

How little money do you have to have in your bank account / earn per year to qualify for medicaid? Does it really suck as bad as they say it does? I don't wanna have to pay for healthcare, I really don't....

If every program survivor who has tragically committed suicide had instead a place to go like the guest who envisioned "The Tire Ranch" they could of had an escape and then could of dedicated their life to helping other people or something.

The new generation of program survivors do they have something other than negative memories to look forward to? Nothing has realy changed, has it?

The tire ranch sounds cool.

Thanks!

The captcha with the black background is more of a pain than the other one was. I've had cases where it has taken 3 or 4 tries to post as Guest whereas with the other one it would happen maybe once... Was the black background supposed to be easier or more difficult?

Hey well imagine a colony constructed of used tires and concrete. Beautiful, isn't it? Well maybe not so beautiful at first, but surely it will improve with age! The Tire Ranch!! Its raison d'etre will be to provide a guaranteed free dwelling space for Survivors who are in need of a place to call home, or maybe just a place to party & crash for a while. The Tire Ranch will offer a sanctuary for survivors.

As for locations, I've considered Alaska, the Mojavé Desert or maybe some pretty little 'uncharted' island somewhere.

Once the initial framework is expanded upon, the Tire Ranch will become quite a place indeed! However, our residents will not be permitted to just sit around all day either! You'll only get out of it what you put into it! There is no doubt that you will feel like shit about yourself if you don't work every day for the better of the Tire Ranch! We will do what we can to provide food, clothing, drugs, music, beds, showers, wireless internet, dune buggies or snow mobiles, sex toys, guitars, drums, guns & all of the other necessities! We will do our best to see to it that we accommodate everyone involved, on that you have my word!

But they had to lie to you to get you to stay and "work your program," right?

I mean after all, you probably lied to your parents so it was ok for them to lie to you too...

CCM Girl is being a troll, plain and simple.

She doesn't mean a word of what she says; she just wants to see how much of a reaction she can get.
