1. All emotional growth programs are abusive and can not do any possible good for a teen.
2. Any parent who sends a teen to wilderness or an RTC or TBS is a terrible parent who hates their kid and all kids.
3. The regulars on this forum are experts on emotional growth programs and know everything there is to know about the staff and the treatment methods are every program. None of them are good.
4. If a former student attempts to defend a program or explain how it helped him or her, it is because he/she has been brainwashed by the program. In a few years the person will figure it out and remember how they were abused at the program.
5. Anyone who claims to have gone to a good college after the program or to have received a valuable high school degree is lying.
6. Any parent who recommends a program to another parent is doing so because they get a kick-back from the program.
7. All educational consultants are in it for the money and get kick-backs from the programs they recommend.

Look at the address and contact information on the CHMH website.

That is Spring Creek Lodge's address. The CHMH website is a joke, it's a fabrication to make parents think they are somehow independent of SCL and WWASP. They share the same address, the same phone number, and the same website and email server... hmmm... could they possibly be the SAME ORGANIZATION?   These so-called "therapists" are a JOKE! SCL is not interested in therapy, they are interested in tearing the child apart emotionally and building up a new, program child. And they will torture you until you give in, afterall, that is policy.

3
The "therapists" are just tools of SCL and are only used to further emotionally manipulate the child. You tell them things in confidence and they tell your family rep and they use it against you in seminars and however else they need to manipulate you. SCL is a freaking joke, and anybody who has been there knows it. Oh yeah... these are just a la carte add ons, just more blood money for WWASP. They find a way to charge for EVERYTHING they possibly can. You'd think at a place to help teens therapy would be included?? Instead, the parents pay extra so the kid can get 20 mins with a 'therapist' who will report everything of importance to the program, used to manipulate him into a stpeford program child. SCL is not helpful, it is harmful. Doing nothing is better than sending a kid to WWASP. A free mind is a healthy mind, do not succomb to the WWASP trap.

Atheist, in my opinion, are the most verbally vicious people I have ever come across.

Here's some facts for you:

According to the 2001 World Almanac, Atheists number:
121 million in Asia
56 million in the former USSR
23 million (3.5%) in Europe
2.7 million in Latin America
1.6 million (0.5%) in North America
0.4 million in Oceania
0.4 million in Africa
The Graduate Center of the City University of New York conducted a massive interview of over 50,000 adults. They estimate that 902,000 (0.4%) of Americans identify themselves as Atheists. The number of Atheists exceeds the number of followers of all of the organized religions in the U.S., except for Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Buddhism. If one were to count the number of Agnostics among the Humanists, Unitarian Universalists, and those who refused to answer the pollster, they would probably outnumber all of the organized religions in the country, except for Christianity and perhaps Judaism.

How many Atheists have you met?

Well... it definitely sounds laughable at first, be honestly who knows what goes on behind the scenes. It definitely fits the public known timeline of events, and tends to explain a lot (as any good conspiracy should do). The site is relatively new I think, so maybe we will hear more about this in the future.

... what a nightmare.. waking up to hear Oprah whispering in your ear.. my god!  :scared:

this is the funniest thread I've read in a few days. I love it when people start with the legal arguments, I'll look some of the classics up and post the links here. this is classic.

I will shoot off an email as well, it can't hurt. Thanks for heads up, it's rare we see these local articles.

If you went to the facility itself to break the kids out, pandomonium would break out as soon as everyone knew what was happening. I doubt it would work... just my opinion though.

Now, if you kidnapped Jay Kay for instance, or people he cares about-- and forced him to shut the camps down to save his life, that might work. But again , theyd be open again as soon as you are caught and jailed.

They have the support of the government, and law enforcement officials.

We stand no chance against that.

The only way is for the law to be on our side, otherwise we'd all be fucked royally.

Its the day the ufos shot up a bunch of air force planes, hence area 51. Is that what you were wondering? Or is there something better that makes this date memorable?"

Its the day our troll was born. UFOs and all, makes a lot of sense eh?
