It is not the site itself which creates a positive or negative effect, rather, it is how we respond to the often sudden, flood of memories of our own experiences that dictate the effect.  Admittedly, my own initial reaction was highly negative, although expunging those memories here was quite cathartic.  On the heels of that initial reaction, I made a full fledged effort to turn the tide, to make some kind of a difference with a positive goal; I hope that I helped a few people.  I do feel that the effect, as a whole, was negative, due to the obsession inspired in reaction to the experiences of myself and others, although there were some bright, positive moments when I felt as if I had helped a few people because of those experiences.

Am I so much more stable and mentally/emotionally whole since I stopped haunting Fornits regularly?  Nope, but I'm a little less obsessed and a little less angry.  I miss some of the friends I made here too.  I also discovered that I'm not as open and accepting as I thought I was.  I was highly disappointed in myself.  An apology is due and I don't know how to express it, but there it is, for what little it's worth.

Can you expound on the abuse you personally were subjected to?  A generalistic claim of abuse is typically difficult for say, a prospective parent who may be considering sending their child there to understand.  If you would be willing to elaborate a little, you could prevent someone elese's child from going through what you've been through....

Well hell it did not work out the way I had planned...

I am so sorry to hear that Botched.  I've been through a lot this summer and I am out of encouraging statements, however, if you can hold onto hope, it's the only thing others can never take from you.  As long as you have a shred of hope for the future, and the inner strength and determination not to let the program or the programmers suck you down, you can get through this and on to something better.

That has to be the singlemost horrific thing I've experienced since Rebekah.   I have you to thank for tonight's feature nightmares.

Love, and let love.

It'll work itself out, or you will know early enough on that it's not going to happen.  How?  If it makes you happy, you will find a way, between the tow of you to make it work.  If it doesn't, there will be that niggling doubt in your mind...it will turn the smallest thing into an obstacle and eventually, you will move on.

You will have to decide, on your own, if the benefits of the relationship outweigh the negatives, once that is done, it's a downhill ride.

I do not personally know, but I will ask those who do.

Reclamation Ranch is another familiar name, one Roloff Enterprises has used before, if I recall correctly.

Oh?  And when were you there?  How old were you?  You have no idea what any of the women here describing what they went through, actually went through, because you weren't THERE.  Girls and women were put in that lock-up room for many reasons, NEVER was a police officer called and the abusers had the keys.

Why don't you look up Texas Monthly Journal and search the name Faye Cameron.  That might give you a clue as to what was happening in the lock up room.  Might give you a clue as to why Faye Cameron is no longer allowed to step into ANY facility where there are children (public or private) in the State of Texas.

What the F****  You want to complain about your experience... go ahead... I have them too!  You do not know my friends that died and your use of them to make your claims feel realistic PISSES ME OFF!  YOU did not know Enola, Sue, or Cheryl, or even Elaine (which I did not know personally), so posting this about their death is what? Make you feel better?  Why?  Roloff was a good pilot and find me where he did anything different than the others.  I am sorry for your shit, and you have been right about a lot of stuff, but bitch about the shit you know.. do not pull my friends, my dead friends, into your bitching!

1.  This was a presentation of facts.  I'm sorry they are painful to you.
2.  No, I couldn't have known those girls, which is why my only comment was to state that Lester Roloff's hubris killed them.
3.  What Roloff did that other 'good pilots' just like him did, was to disregard weather warnings and fly anyway.

If Lester Roloff was a "good pilot", I don't want a good one.  I want a fucking fabulous pilot.  One who won't get me killed.

"They both look young in their thirties with a baseball cap on and a football jersey and long baggy shorts."

Personally, I'd cross to the side of the street I needed to go down.  I'm Caucasian, but grew up in Texas around a lot of Hispanics, only a handful of blacks.  I've got good friends of both persuasions, and the color of their skin isn't important to me, it's the color of their heart that matters.  My mother would disagree, but I haven't listened to her for years.
