You're going to be alright. The situation is hard for people who've had it hard in life like we had, maybe harder than for the average human.  BUT! It's not uncommon for ANY person to be in the same shoes as you are right now.  We've all had moments of heated disagreement, where in it seems like half our work place, office, what have you is ANTI-(Your Name Here).  It all works out in the end.  You've kept your cool outwardly, and had normal feelings of ARGH! or what ever you felt inside.  Your job is secure, I am sure. You want to resolve this situation, and I'm sure your employer will know that of you.  If not, Tell him or her that you want to resolve this situation, apologize even if you don't mean it, and remember....when other people gather together to correct the error of another employees' ways, it's usually because 1/2 of them or more have something to hide of thier own, or wish to divert attention from thier own shortcomings in the workplace. You're fine. I promise.

Wow, it blows my mind to see all of your posts refer to the 70's and that the sickness of the program was going on even back then.  I was born in March of 1973, and in 1988, was in Kids of Bergen County (North JErsey) under director and dictatorship of "Dr." Miller Newton and his lovely wife Ruth Ann.  I thought it was and 80's fad to run a cult, who knew how long this had really been going on.  I'm glad it's over for you all.

How is it that anyone can still be with Newton? I mean I understand the whole Idol worship thing but I don't understand why he keeps these people in his life...what purpose do they serve for him? Do they work for him in some capacity? Are they on-hold character witnesses to testify on his behalf in case of a law suit? Why would he continue the game with the select few who still follow him? With out the money (income) of the program, what does he have to gain?

Have a great holiday everyone. We are free. We are Free. The truth of what has been done to us lays heavy on the hearts of Miller, Ruth Ann, and those who still follow. We are free, and they never will be. Merry Christmas!

Straight, Inc. and Derivatives / hilariously misinformed article about MDMA
« on: December 20, 2002, 09:39:00 AM »
The type of parent gullible enough to believe hype like the X article in the Beacon was the type of parent who believed the Newtons when they told her the little brown bottle she found in my closet when I was 15 was an inhalent. Which by the way turned out to be a bottle of perfum. It's frightening to think how ignorant my mother was, how easily swayed she was by anyone who sounded confident. What scares me is that there are parents out there, right now, who will fall for the same manipulation at the expense of thier precious children.

Jessica from when to when were you there? I was in from 1988 to 1990.

But this is far from demonstrating that the authorities must interpose to suppress these vices by commercial prohibitions, nor is it by any means evident that such intervention on the part of the government is really capable of suppressing them or that, even if this end could be attained, it might not therewith open up a Pandora's box of other dangers, no less mischievous than alcoholism and morphinism.

What is this Tuesday night chat deal? I'd like to know more about it. How do I get in on it, what do you discuss, etc.,....Thanks.

That is very kind of you to want to bring them back from the dark side, but think about this...At this point in life, they are old enough and far enough away from it all to make the jump themselves. Maybe I'm not being fair, maybe I'm underestimating the power of the brainwashing...but I think that if they decide to stay sickly connected then that's the decision they've made themselves. If any of them are the ones who've hurt us, then thier punishment is still living the non-free life. God I hope I'm not becoming cruel.

14
I agree, very sad life indeed. I am so curious though. There are people who I think about sometimes that I am sure must still be connected. I just can't picture them living normal lives.

15
What I was curious about is this:  Are there any people who still remain faithful to the cult, I mean "program", who don't care that kids is no longer in operation but still practice the whole damn thing and meet and etc.,....I swear I saw T*ny K*z*c*w*cz working in the Eddie Bauer in Paramus last year and he had that "look" in his eyes. You know, that "my brain is not my own" look of the program? I was wondering, are there people who are still in? And if so, who are they?
