Eminence Front, The Who: Ultimate Collection
written by Pete Townshend

The sun shines
People forget
The spray flies as the speedboat glides
People forget
Forget they're hiding
The girls smile
People forget
The snow packs as the skier tracks
People forget
Forget they're hiding.

Behind an eminence front
Eminence front - It's a put-on.
It’s an eminence front
It’s an eminence front – It’s a put-on
An eminence front
Eminence front - put-on
Eminence front
It’s an eminence front
I’ts an eminence front – It’s a put-on
It’s a put-on
It’s a put-on
It’s a put-on

Come and join the party
Dress to kill
Won't you come and join the party
Dress to kill
Dress to kill.

The drinks flow
People forget
That big wheel spins, the hair thins
People forget
Forget they're hiding
The news slows
People forget
The shares crash, hopes are dashed
People forget
Forget they're hiding.

Behind an eminence front
An eminence front - it's a put-on
It is an eminence front
Eminence front – It’s a put-on
An eminence front
An eminence front - put-on
Eminence front
It’s an eminence front - it's a put-on
It’s a put-on
It’s a put-on
It’s a put-on

Come and join the party
Dress to
Come and join the party
Dress to
Come on join the party
Dress to
Come and join the party
Dress to kill

Dress yourself to kill.

The Troubled Teen Industry / Molestation in Host Homes
« on: December 18, 2010, 05:18:21 PM »
Sort of a touchy subject to bring up, but my last host home before I left Straight one of the host family members touched me inappropiately while I was on a 5th phase day off. I told the host parents about it and also reported it to staff.. And the only thing that happened was staff told the host family that that family member could not be there while phasers were there.

Should they not have contacted the appropriate authorities ???

The Troubled Teen Industry / Christmas in the program
« on: November 28, 2010, 09:55:15 AM »
I remember spending 2 Christmas' in Straight. The thought about this topic came up last night while I helped my daughter put up a Christmas tree and decorate the front of the house.

Both of the Christmas' that I spent in Straight were not happy as I was away from my family. Sure my host parents were nice people, but they were not able to fulfill the viod in my life, which was the need to be with my family to have Christmas dinner, be part of looking for the christmas tree, decorating, and mainly be a part of the family.

From being in a program during the holidays especially it caused me to have a barrier that still exist in my life. I am not an anti-social person, but this time of year always triggers feelings and emotions for me. I have had people tell me to get over it and move on, but they do not understand how deeply this type of situation effects a person.

My first Christmas after I got out of the program I tried to do the family thing and it was ruined for me. Feelings of resentment for having been placed in the program dominated what should have been a happy thing. It seems that no matter how I try to get into the holiday spirit the program seems to have ruined it for me. I do however put on a plastic smile and act as if, but I know it is not real.

Open Free for All / Bring back Felice..
« on: November 19, 2010, 12:36:30 PM »
Bring back Felice, I feel like it is unfair for her to be permanently banned. Who else wants her be allowed back???? It is B.S. that she is banned and others who deserve it more are still here.   :bs:  :bs:

Open Free for All / Why all the sudden a change on Fornits
« on: September 30, 2010, 11:39:46 AM »
In my humble opinion it seems as though things have gotten to light on the pro-program shill and harder on the people who are against it... I see where Fornits ask to help with operating costs... and I see where it is $70.00 over paid... Makes me think that Whooter is the one who is footing the bill and hence all the new rules... Just food for thought... If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck... Just might be a duck !!!!

The Troubled Teen Industry / Name One Good Program
« on: September 22, 2010, 08:27:11 AM »
Now let's get back to the question I posed as we really need to make a list

Quote from: "shaggys"
Quote from: "Botched Programming"
Hey guys we keep running round and round and getting nowhere with the battle of programs are bad, let's give Who, Max, and Danny the opportunity to tell us which programs are good since they are stuck on the one track.

I think this is a reasonable request from Botched. I would like to see the list of specific programs which come so highly reccomended here. Names, address and phone # would be helpful. We can start with the program which maximillian/suck it attended. thanks.   :rocker:

I agree with what Shaggy's said.. I made a reasonable request and "Who" you danced around the question... Name the good programs...

Open Free for All / The art of protesting is being lost
« on: September 03, 2010, 01:53:44 PM »
Back in the 60's and 70's the art of protesting was alive and well. Musicians would even write songs describing their views and the airwaves were constantly getting their message out. Protestors showed their courageousness, they were committed, they would get beaten and put in jail for their beliefs. They stood united, they spent time making protest signs and would strategically get together and demonstrate on behalf of what they believe, and believe fully strength is in numbers.

Today protestors have gotten soft or forgot what protesting is. Today protestors sit behind a computer screen where they are just mere words on a computer screen, faceless nameless words. Our musicians are not writing words that enspire us to get up and yell and scream at the top of our lungs that the issue is unethical.. Today's protestors sit behind the mask of their computer and their plight is minimized.

I am so glad there are activist groups such as Green Peace who still know how to protest, these people stand up yell, scream and will not be silent. These people are willing to put theirselves in harms way. They are willing to make sacrifices, and their words are heard loud...

Just some random thoughts.

Open Free for All / Making Amends
« on: September 02, 2010, 11:27:10 AM »
To all reader on Fornits... I sincerely apologize for opening a topic up where Idiocy even on my own part has overun a fairly peaceful forum.. However I do not take back anything I said about it, that is me and where I stand on the subject. However it did not stay on topic and I apparently took Danny off of his leash, maybe Who has some intrest, if he would have followed my suggestion about doing a little of his own research by reading and going to meetings he would have some accurate info for his self, Max has remained fairly civil through this whole thing and for that I commend him. As for me well the post that Antigen put out, You're special... Well that's me at this point... Still Retarded.

Peace and much healing

Open Free for All / AA Meetings Voluntary ???
« on: September 01, 2010, 10:33:19 AM »
To start out I do know some people arrive at the doors of AA meetings possibly looking for help, but you do not arive at the door brimming with love as the world is wonderful. Most of the time people are being forced to go by their wives, husbands, families, and the one that gets me is the courts.. I do not see how the courts can order a person to go as it seems in violation of the seperation of church and state...

Open Free for All / Calling it a disease is a cop out
« on: August 31, 2010, 12:14:53 PM »
Treatment centers and Anonymous programs call it a disease... Insurance companies pay benefits so people can learn the dogmatic 12 steps. Please discuss.  :seg:

11
(1) If you ever go to any Anonymous meeting you will sit at the beginning of the meetings you will hear their Traditions.
(2a)  One tradition states every group will be self supporting through their own contributions declining outside contributions
(2b) the group may never endorse, finance, or lend their name to outside enterprise, lest money, property, prestige divert them from their primary purpose.
(2c) Another states they should remain non-professional but their service centers may employ special workers

(1) Lest take a look at what tradition means

Tradition defined : 4A time-honored practice or set of such practices. Dogma defined: A principle or belief or a group of them:
Meetings appear to be dogmatic to me... What do you think ??

(2) The programs are self supporting through their own contributions... the money you put in the basket and the books you buy pays the rent and the money is sent to their area then up to their world service orginzations. Think about how many meetings there are and how much money their organizations take in.

They sure do put out alot of PR to treament centers through their "Hospitals and Institution Commitees" "Sure sounds like recruitment to me'"

Employment of special workers... CEO's Vice president of the company making a healthy dollar in his or her pocket

Again the definition for Cult:

Cult defined
a system for the cure of disease based on dogma set forth by its promulgator

Now any educated person would call them cults,,, If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, must be a duck

Much peace and healing

Dockery

(verb) To train your sphincter to become prehensile for the purposes of enhanced pleasure during anal sex. 2. (noun) A prehensile rectum. 3. (adjective) A grasping asshole.
1. "Thanks to my Dockery, I'm very popular at prison."
2. His Dockery "developed sort of teeth-like little raspy in- curving hooks and start eating. He thought this was cute at first and built and act around it, but the asshole would eat its way through his pants and start talking on the street, shouting out it wanted equal rights. It would get drunk, too, and have crying jags nobody loved it and it wanted to be kissed same as any other mouth. Finally it talked all the time day and night, you could hear him for blocks screaming at it to shut up, and beating it with his fist, and sticking candles up it, but nothing did any good and the asshole said to him: "It's you who will shut up in the end. Not me. Because we don't need you around here any more. I can talk and eat AND shit."
3. "Don't be a Dockery!"
