What the heck is that?

"The Seed of Hope" is/was a video, done by a local Miami or Ft Lauderdale tv station, that ran on tv and was available for showing at civic groups. It was a docu/drama about the seed.

I'd love to get a look at that too. I wonder who produced it? Who was on the film crew? All that stuff.
All who doubted or denied would be lost. To live a moral and honest life -- to keep your contracts, to take care of wife and child -- to make a happy home -- to be a good citizen, a patriot, a just and thoughtful man, was simply a respectable way of going to hell.

Eighty percent for blacks. Notice for all the disadvantages blacks labored under, four of five were still literate. Six decades later, at the end of the 20th century, the National Adult Literacy Survey and the National Assessment of Educational Progress say 40 percent of blacks and 17 percent of whites can't read at all. Put another way, black illiteracy doubled, white illiteracy quadrupled, despite the fact that we spend three or four times as much real money on schooling as we did 60 years ago.

have you thought of contacting the local pbs stations to see if they might have aired it, and if so, if it is still in their files? or maybe the local library borward county?
