The Seed Discussion Forum / Re: PA Childcare - Kash for KKKids

Hi I did not start the FB Group to shut down Fornits. I do not encourage or support condemning Fornits by any means. It is an alternative to the contentiousness of these boards but by no means is it meant to replace this. I am not one of those who thinks the Seed was the best thing that ever happened to me. I also do not think it is the worst but it did damage me. I do my best for the experience to be a positive one. The program taught all of us how to attack and demean each other and I can do that as well as anyone can. I do not however believe it to be the the BEST I can do and I have seen that side of me do more harm than good. I formed the Group in FB for others who are or have awakened to their experience and need someone who can understand what they have been through. Sometimes it is great just knowing others who understand you more then anyone else because of our shared experiences.

This Board is a great repository of information for those seeking some answers.

But I'm already on it  under my real name.....does it allow me to change it by joining the group?????.....I almost don't care at this point
You could even create another alias using a different email. The FB Groups is for positive support and feedback it is not intended to be another fornits. Abuse will not be allowed.

The Facebook page this thread is referring to is for anyone who is looking for fellow Survivors of the Seed experience. It is a CLOSED Group, which means that what is posted there STAYS there and will never appear on your public profile. It is not Fornits, if you want to bash other people and try and demean them then it is not the place for you and I would recommend you stay here as you can be as mean as you wish to be. Otherwise come join us either as your self of using an alias the Golden rule is in effect over there So come on enjoy.

Hi,

I do not go to the pages where people are attacking each other. I have found 2 people so far and they have joined a group I have on FB called: Survivors of The Seed and here is the link. It does not and will not allow attacking or threats of any kind. All Seed Survivors are welcome to join.

You know we ALL were brainwashed abused and abusers. I woke up last year and realized that The Seed changed my life in SO many ways. It has been over 30 years since my experience I have found both good and bad about what I got out of the Seed.  I know the bad has outweighed the good. I had not been an abuser of drugs OR alcohol. I had used them on occasion. My sister got busted because she was the out all night with her friends drunk as often as she could and either on uppers or downers whatever she could get her hands on.

I learned to lie so I could get through the program. And now from talking to former Straight staff members all the shit we did "working" the program was all BS because they based any promotions or movement through the program on how much they liked you. SO it was still peer pressure of the MOST negative kind. I didn't fight the process I entered it and did everything they told me to do. I did not want to get started over so I capitulated and did everything they wanted me to do. I learned how to read people instantly. And you do not want to piss me off cause I am still good at coming down on you if you cross me. this is just a short list of what I learned while in the Seed.

I understand that those who fought the program had a totally different experience and were abused and even tortured to make break them. Many of them left the program only to kill themselves within a few years.

There's a saying in the Straight group on FB: we were ALL hit by the same bag of rocks.

We all know what we endured while in the program. It was FUCKED up and not right but who understands what you went through better than another survivor. I am not saying those who see their experience as a positive thing are wrong or bad. They just have not woke up to the abusiveness of the program. Or the denial of basic human rights just because they were kids. The most fearsome thing to me is that there are legacy programs that still exist in 2012 that still practice those methods that have been proven not to work.  What I mean by legacy is the people who worked at The Seed and Straight are opening the same kinds of programs under different names in new states. It did not work then and it does not work now. Children are being brainwashed to think they are wrong and broken when all that is going on is the transition from child to adult. And when brain chemistry is changing the most from 12-18 years old that is when these institutions are messing with young people's brains. If you have struggled all your life or are still struggling and wondering why your life isn't working then maybe it is time to learn as much as you can.

Here is the link to request membership: https://www.facebook.com/groups/278734835522823/

Was in the SEED from 73/74. After graduating the program and High School I moved out into a house in downtown St Pete with all former Seedlings. And one Senior Staff member who shall remain nameless. . . I met some survivors of Straight on Facebook. Joined the group there and was told about Fornits . . . Checking on how much info there is here for us former seedlings.
