Open Meetings? Is this what remember as  "Parent's night?" If so, I remember it being just once a week... But then, without the moral inventories, I would have had any concept of how long I was there, or what day it was.

The Seed Discussion Forum / How Long until You Confessed?

Hi All,

I'm one of the Seedlings who never touched, even saw a drug, before I was put in the Seed ( St Pete 1974). Of course, I eventually confessed to doing drugs, but can't quite remember how long it took until I confessed... was it the third day, fourth day.. did I last a week?

I confessed soon after Parent's night, as that experience ripped away any hope I had for getting out of there by being honest.

Do any of you remember when you confessed? Any one remember this that did not do drugs--at least--before The Seed?

How did it feel when you did confess? I can't remember the day, but I remember much of the feelings before, during and after my 'confession'.

Hi Greg,

I sent you a private message. I'm not sure how this works - so hope you got it.

Amazing, I don't remember singing that song. I do remember how exited I was to be singing the closing song, because that meant I'd be able to sleep in a few more hours - if I was good. But not the actual song.
However, when I read the posts about the songs, zippity do dah, Tea Pot and now Jingle Bells, my body remembers. More specifically, my gut. It's not a pleasant sensation.

Thanks for your response.

One more question? Do you remember if we chanted the serenity prayer first thing in th morning? My memory puts it around that time.

The Seed Discussion Forum / Clocks at The Seed

I don't remember any clocks at The Seed. Or any on site when I was a new-comer in my first old-comer's home. Does anyone remember this?
I wonder if my memory does not picture a clock because that was the experience those first few weeks...endless time. Raps, Moral Inventories, little to no sleep. Or if it was a technique that was used to assist the the behaviour control.

I was in St Pete in 1973. Does anyone remember what songs we sang? Didn't we have a closing song in the evening?
