You never want to tie anything to one persons name, because over time the movement may grow and need to take on an identity of its own.  Another reason is if the person rapes a kid or becomes an alcoholic then it reflects badly on the entire movement because his name is tied to it, its best to keep it more vanilla.

I knew that the name I created would get criticized eventually. I don't care, though....I think it kicks ass in more than one way if ye look at the various implications it brings along with the name. Besides, I was just using the wonderful tool of free association while psy, and che agreed that it kicked ass. So, although I would love nothing better than to take full credit for that name, it was honestly a major brainstorming session between me, psy, and che in the old shoutbox...
