I just read an article on AJ Prison Planet wherein Wesley Clark was deriding somebody about something. Wesley Clark was a NATO commander during the final gasp of the war against Yugoslavia. Assuming that the Russians would simply lie down as the last bastion of southern Slavic autonomy was wiped out, Wesley went to take over the Pristina airport back in '99. The Russians, not that keen to simply hand over the energy corridors of Central Europe sent Victor Zavarzin and a contingent of Russian troops to take the Pristina airport. Wesley then ordered the British and French NATO troops to take the airport from the Russians. Wisely, the British commander Jackson refused to attack the Russians, and Wesley was left to bite the carpet.
Because the Yugoslavian state was a command economy, the world stood by while James Baker III and co., via MPRRI, armed the ultra-facsist Croatians and unleashed them in the Kryjina against the Serbs.
