Title: Isabelle Zehnder Annonouces Expansion (CAICA) NAPCFA
Post by: Anonymous on June 17, 2007, 03:38:02 PM
Anybody ever heard of NAPCFA- National Association of Professional Child and Family Advocates?

Izzy claims this orgainiztion is difficult to get into.
Nothing shows up on a google search.

Izzy seems to be marketing a "wrap-around" concept as a money-making adventure for CAICA's "expansion."

Who was it that posted Izzy said she intended to "make advocacy pay?"

Hey Isabelle:

Could you provide a list of ADVOCATES who belong to this NAPCFA organization that you claim is "so difficult to get into?"

What is the criteria for joining this organization?

WHO ARE THE MEMBERS?

Can anyone explain how a "wrap around" should work--and why Isabelle Zehnder's proposal sounds a bit "off" and not advantageous to a family?

A-START and the other articles about wrap-around support the REDUCTION of out-of-home treatment placement for teens; and stress that RTC's treatment has not stood up to research scrunity.  The wrap-around supported here supports parental involvment at all levels, and out-patient treatment whenever possible; and only short-term hospitalization when necessary.

It appears that Isabelle Zehnder's "type of wrap-around" does not discourage long-term placement of teens---but DOES ENCOURGE her type of parental "coaching" while the teens are placed in programs; and after these teeens return home. A money-making project for Izzy?

Zehnder's promotion of NAPCFA and stating that it is difficult to get into this organization might require some further explaining by her; since NAPCFA can not be located by a Google Search.  Is this some "new-found" organization just recently establish?  What other "advocates" belong to this NAPCFA?

Who are these "PROFESSIONALS" that Isabelle Zehnder claims she has on her "wrap-around" staff?  How about some NAMES, Izzy?

As I understand it, Isabelle Zehnder and someone named Rose Moore
are the co-founders of this organization.

Considering how hyper-vilgilent true professionals often are when it comes to aligning themselves with newly founded organizations who have not had time to establish a clear record of credibility, ethical standards, viable references, professionalism, etc. I don't think I'm going to lose any sleep over this particular venture of wIzzy's.

Isn't it sort of strange: when Izzy post something on CA-CA, and it gets discussed here on FORNITS; it seems as if Izzy either "updates, re-writes, or deletes" what she had on CA-CA.

Strange huh?
Fornits posters seem to be CA-CA's unpaid "editors."   LOL

Empty text box; but Izzy made sure to stick that DISCLAIMER on there.
WHY?
Now Izzy is even "disclaiming" nothing?

Seriously, she doesn't have a clue. This woman has no kind of legitimate backing, makes statements haphazardly and with no research support... certainly not someone worth wasting breath on... really guys.  Only worth the slight entertainment value... kind of like a , 'what will Iz do next...' reality show that comes from watching the absurd and nonsensical. sort of like watching a train wreck.  Come to think of it, it's quite sad, no?

NO !
What's sad, is there may be an unsuspecting parent who might believe this Izzy woman; and find their child picked up by Sunrise Adolescent Transporters that Izzy refers to; and delivered to some program that Izzy has referred this parent to through her "friend Sue."

That's what could be very sad!  Some child placed in a program, and escorted this program--thanks to Izzy's referrals.

Why when clicking on  "CAICA EXPANDS" is there a BLANK PAGE?

Why does any reference to NAPCFA come up BLANK, too?

Did Rose Moore perhaps request these deletions?
