Dear folks,
I ain't talkin' outa school here cause Depro asked me to put in a word. Please take it easy on this gal right now. She's having one hell of a hard time. If anyone can take a day to stand by a dear friend, now would be the time. She needs specialized medical treatment right now and is low on friends.If you can believe it, she's not able to stand up for herself in the medical establishment. I can't see making that trip this week as I'm in NJ right now waiting for a break in the weather and turnin a buck. So please, if anyone can go stand by her and make sure she gets the service she needs get ahold of her and solid up your plans to do that.

It is sad to know about her medical condition. She really needs a companion with her situation. I guess the best persons to help her are her relatives.

UPDATE:
The doctor diagnosed me with adrenal insufficiency, further testing is needed to decipher at this point whether or not it is a primary deficiency or secondary.
I will keep you posted.
Once we know the answer to the primary or secondary question...it will be easier to then narrow down the cause of the insufficiency.

Hydrocortisone actually @ None-ya....nice thinking of me, but am not looking for a buzz considering I have basically been on "death watch" for the last few months. I just want to live. I still have too much to do on this earth yet.

update on my health: Adrenal insufficiency ....still awaiting a CRH test. This test is so rare that it costs $300.00...It is so rare that our govt. pays for it....yet I am on the waiting list behind three other people for it.

Don't I know. Without boring evryone with my medical history, lets just saythe doctors have put me through the wringer too.
Never ment any offence though. Just trying to inject some levity. Hope you're feeling better!

update: my test is this wednesday...then I have to wait a week to a week and a half for the test results. Either way I will know something more by Jan 5th...my mammaws birthday RIP mamaw. Good sign I get my results on her b-day, though.

Update: I got my test done yesterday, and the results will be in Jan 5th.

Update: tests are conclusive......I have adrenal insufficency/secondary...still don't know the cause.... brainscan came back normal for the pit gland and hypothalmus...meaning no tumors. I do have a lesion on my right frontal lobe...in the white matter, not the gray matter. The doc said this lesion was caused from head trauma...so for me I have been assaulted recently and beaten previously, so this doesn't surprise me. But this lesion is not a tumor. It is a matter of monitoring for new symptoms to see if it changes or does anything. I do know this: my headaches still have not gone away.
I have now gained some weight b/c of the meds they have me on. I weigh 106 now instead of 99 lbs. :)
I am still not feeling the best, but this didn't happen over night so I don't expect it to go away over night.

Good to hear that it's not primary adrenal insufficiency! Hopefully as that lesion heals, your headaches will subside. Don't let that exhaustion get ya down; it'll pass with time...
