I was researching documentation of the closure of Cascade School and was surprised to find this site. I taught at Cascade from 8/2000 through 2/2001. If any of my students want to find me, you can e-mail me at [email protected]. I'm sorry I left you without notice; my supervisor was not happy with me, and it was only a matter of time before I would be terminated. I decided to leave on my own terms. I wouldn't have hurt any of you, and I am sad to hear that so many who needed help did not get what they needed at Cascade. Those of you who are still so angry, I hope you will find peace and hope to make your lives whole. When I play "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," by that great, large Hawaiian fellow who died young, I remember my senior class. I hope you all are well. Idell
