Anyone out there...were you or do you remember singing the opening song at the Orange Bowl for the Dolphins game? It had to be 73 or 74 not sure.

I sang at the Orange Bowl also.  I remember we all had on white t-shirts (maybe seed shirts) and jeans......I think.  I was so scared I thought my legs were going to collapse when we ran out on the field.  I think I remember one of the Suzy's being with us.  Not sure though.  We went in buses???

I heard we got booed, but I don?t remember.

Was it really 500?????????  That I don't remember.

I also remember singing at the Orange Bowl and it was 1974, shortly after I graduated my program.  I am not sure if that was the 1st time or if we sang at the Orange Bowl 2 times.  We all wore jeans and our Seed T-shirts.

I remember the jeans...the seed t-shirt and of course being in the front because I was short...still am. I don't remember what we sang it was either The star spangled banner or America...I thought we were applauded. And yes we went down in buses...and I think the guys were on one side and girls on the other.
Wasn't Art friends with Joe Robbie and that is how we got to do what we did?

I to was there and we were booed bu that was to be expected.  Heck, whenever Robert selected me, and it was often, I worked security and I can't tell you how many cars went by just to give us the finger or yell some curse word.  Some kids were really itimidated by us.  The Orange Bowl was fun even for one who hates the Dolphins as much as this Bills fan does.

No, they weren't intimidated by you. They were making fun of you.

What a distressing contrast there is between the radiant intelligence of the child and the feeble mentality of the average adult.

I agree with Antigen.  Before I got sent, I thought the few people that I knew that had gone in were more than a little weird.

Then there was the fear that someone would narc on you and get you sent there.   Which, in my case, was a legitimate fear......as I ended up on the front row....courtesy of a former friend.

"Too bad not many of you became men and women."

At least we don't feel the need to go around with bags on our heads. What's up with that?
