Miss Gentile, why are you supporting the Sudweeks when your son has publicy denounced the Sudweeks abusive treatment of the students at Whitmore Academy?

How did you find out about Whitmore Academy?
Tim Lowe has given a statement that prior to November 2004 when the strong allegations of abuse against the Sudweeks were made public, that 100% of all referrals to Whitmore came through PURE.

actually my son only felt that way when he was misinformed about cheryl trying to have him arrested. People just kept telling him stories and he acted impulsively you dont see him posting garbage now. mary I support them because they did help my son he got on a much better path do to him. I really believe they saved his life and he is so smart and could live life to the fullest now. thanks for asking and not attacking. mary

well i think he is like most kids on the track sometime and off others, trying to find himself. I am happy at the support he seems to have from the kids he met there because he was very spoiled and difficult to deal with when he first got there but he seems to have forged some strong relationships with these kids. Im glad maybe they can hold each other up when they fall. mary

HOW do you know how chris behaved when he first got there? listening to your friend cheryl again? maybe he learned a thing or two from his fun-filled little stay at ivy ridge, like how to survive, keep his mouth shut, and how to avoid getting the shit beat out of himself. all you know is what is told you and you are being told the truth about the sudweeks by your son now, so why aren't you listening now lady? why? you only hear what you want to hear. why, again? why would you believe anyone over your own son, that's the big question.

First i would like to clarify while you are saying my post are grade school quality I actually have 3 degrees marketing, accounting and economics. what is your education since you choice to defame mine. I do however not type and rarely use the computer and just so you know his dads education is a double board certified surgeon with a mba. Where do you think chris got his educational push from! mary

I dont know how yall can act like 3 kids missing for 4 days with no phone call or email to their parents is somehow a victory against whitmore. Do you care at all what happens to these boys, I do that is why i am trying to help what have you done? Mary, yes, indeed, some of us DO understand very well what it's like to wonder and worry about your teenaged kid out there somewhere. But some of us also understand something of what they may be running from!
Mary, this is the really important point I hope you'll begin to understand. That sense of security and safety you had while your kid was in a program was an ILLUSION! You didn't get phone calls and emails from your kid for awhile. None of these places allow contact w/ family till the kid is broken enough to stick to the script. Instead, you heard from a family rep at AIR and then from Cheryl or some other at the Whit. They told you pretty lies and made you feel all better. But you won't believe your own son unless he tows that party line.
Bottom line is this. As we don't know where the kids are, we can hope that they're in contact w/ someone who cares and will give them the hand up they need to escape the cult and, if necessary, escape the control of their brainwashed parents. We can hope that they're having fun, catching up on sleep, eating enough and getting their heads sorted out. And, of course, we all hope that they're not being taken in by any shady characters who might take advantage of young ppl in vulnerable positions.
If they go back to the Whit, we know to a dead certainty they'll pay. So I hope they don't get caught. I hope their parents come to understand that they're no less safe now than they were last week, and possibly a good deal better off. But few things in this life suck quite so much as not being able to trust your own parents.
