Today is the day we Americans get to pick.  Think your vote doesn't count?  537 votes decided SO much in 2000.

In Florida today is a big day.  Do you smoke cigs?  You need to vote.

Do you have school children?  You need to vote.

Do you want biz owners to decide if they have smoking sections or not?  You need to vote.

How about that "restrained pig" amendment?

This  one is PROOF that people don't read petetions before they sign 'em....

Anyway....go fire or hire a politicain today.  Who wins WILL effect us all.

Bill

PS  The touch screen voting here in Tampa was SMOOTH.  Let us hope that the south FL bannana republic counties can figure it out.

I voted in Cali today- my vote went to the green party candidate, both Grey and Bill are just too lame.

Incidentally- the poll workers were complete idiots- they tried to take our voter registration cards adn we had to raise a stink to keep it from happening. It made me wonder if these poll workers had ever voted themselves?

Check out this women who is running, allegedly in a non-partisan race, for the superintendent of schools here in Cali- does her screed about proper dress sound familiar?

$22.50 a carton in Woodbridge, Va at a tobacco store, $3.29/pack at 7-11, $3.69/pack at the local country store here in my cow pasture. The highest I have seen is the rest stop on 95 right before you get into Md from DE at $4.50/pack.
Soda prices are outrageous too! $65/gal. More than gasoline. Marlboro soft pack best cigs in the world! LOL   Well, hope this helps. MG8

OK I voted last night.  Every election I vote and then the next day I read how everything I voted yes on lost, and everything I voted no on won.

Cigarettes in northern Ca. run 4.50 to 5.50 a pack, depending on where you get them.

Wow.. that's quite a bit for a pack of cigarettes. Usually I find them for about 3.50 a pack some places here in Michigan. I hear Ohio has the cheapest rate though.

Every time we have an election in San Francisco there is some fiasco.  Last time it was ballot boxes being found floating in the bay, for one thing.  This year, it turns out they didn't have enough ballots for people to vote in certain precincts.  There were some very sensitive propositions on the ballot, one of which if it had lost, would have meant a lot of big-time developers wouldn't have gotten the water they need for new housing developments.  It would be interesting to see which voting precincts in the city were shorted on ballots.

No offense but -

To hell w/ it...I had neither the time nor (mainly) the desire to vote...It was between a bad democratic candidate & a republican...Moist crap or dry crap.
(I live in MD.)
Until a decent party comes into existence, they can all kiss my a$$! Plus this way, I probably won't be called up for jury duty...
