I know for a fact that in ATL the old files were burned in 1986-1987. There were a bunch of them and it took about a week.

for anyone looking for thier file.... i personally moved every stright st. pete file they had in 1990 to a storage area on 66th st in pinellas park. i was told that they were going to be stored there permenatly? the files i took there were from the early eighties to early 1990. if anyone knows liz gay, executive staff at st pete in those years, i have been told she is still in posession of the key to that storage facility. i do not know if this is true or not.
i did have possession of my own file until my husband found it and thought it was the most horrible thing he had ever seen. i do not wish to remember the mean and hurtful things put in my file about me
