One of my personal favs of his. I like to imagine when he says "think straight sinners" he's talking about the assholes in straight. lol.

KID ROCK LYRICS

"You Never Met A Motherfucker Quite Like Me"

Yep
I've been on the cover of the Rolling Stone
I met the president when I was half stoned
I been so high I've gotten confused
I been beat down, broke and used
Motherfucker
I drank with hank, talked blues with Billy
Rocked with Run sang with shotgun Willy
Went from small time philly to big time Bobby
From 3 day old chili to saki with wosabi

I'm home hey I'm home
You never met a motherfucker quite like me
Not like me, dida dada like me, hey like me

No more bein' poured drink specials at winners
Or being ignored by the think straight sinners
I used to smoke pinners while my moms made dinner
Now I smoke bombs and rock with Lynyrd skynyrd
No beginners here I'm a seasoned vet
Educated on jazz by my man Amed
Heard again my friend I been the world n back
But I'm Michigan boy can you feel that

And I'm home
You never met a motherfucker quite like me
Not like me, God damn like me, hey hey like me

Never thought I'd go as far in life as this
Never made par and I could give 2 shits
Never wanted sell cars cause my dad was a dick
Never wanted a guitar 'till I heard a lick like this

And from the depths of dixie to my northern spots
You know its time to rock when ole glory drops

I pimp through town with the top laid back
Black hat, fine blonde, cold pabst in my lap
I'll adapt
To any and all situations
Thats why the call me the pimp of the nation
Hey bitch you best believe I live in the woods not your world of greed
Might, a little weed might a little yeah
I'm so proud to be living in the USA

You've never met a motherfucker quite like me
Hey hey like me, da di da da stay like me, hey hey hey like me
You aint ever met and you aint never going meet
You never met a ,never met a ,never never never never met a
Motherfucker quite like me
You aint never met a mother like me
Hey you aint never never never never never met someone like me
(Hey hey)
Never met like me,
(Hey hey)
(Hey dude hey)
Never met a mother like me
(Come on, hey)
And you never, and never gonna never gonna meeeeeet
(Hey come on already)
You never meeeeeeeet
(stop)
What?
(Dude, theres more to life that just you)
hahaha

Varnished weeds in window jars
Tarnished beads on tapestries
Kept in satin boxes are
Reflections of love's memories

Letters from across the seas
Roses dipped in sealing wax
Valentines and maple leaves
Tucked into a paperback

Guess I'll throw them all away
I found someone to love today

Dark with darker moods is he
Not a golden Prince who's come
Through columbines and wizardry
To talk of castles in the sun

Still I'll take a chance and see
I found someone to love today

There's a sorrow in his eyes
Like the angel made of tin
What will happen if I try
To place another heart in him

In a Bleeker Street cafe
I found someone to love today
I found someone to love today

"We Stand Alone"

Here it is, once again,
tales of betrayal by the ones we call our friends
took us long to get where we are
now we're told what we've done is wrong

We all started with something to say
was it our different views or jealousy in the way
now you're the ones setting the rules
just like the establishment you're so against
lay down your laws, say what you will
tell me i'm wrong and i'll defy you

Who are you to make up rules and put us down ?
with our friends, we'll stay to the end
and if it comes down to it, we'll stand alone
Here it is once again, tales of conformity
by the ones who would be king
we never set out to impress anyone
it's just an outlet, our chance to be heard
at first you said we hated to much
now you say we just can't hate enough
now you're screaming that we've changed
we've grown up but our beliefs are still the same
it's still an outlet for anger and strife
but one more thing, it's also our life

(We) we don't need any help (stand alone)
our beliefs are strong enough to (stand alone)
our desire's burning deep, in our hearts
it's in ourheads, it's in our souls
(we) we defy your fucking lies (stand alone)
you question our beliefs (stand alone)
our desire's burning deep, in our hearts
it's in our heads, it's in our souls (stand alone)

We stand alone

People from the past, they dont want to hear us
the ones they call our peers, they just fear us
ain't handin' no lies but reality comes off as cold
what you hear from me comes from deep down inside us
this just ain't a song of defiance, i'm just tellin' you how it goes

We stand alone

Here's to all you "cop-outs" and renouncers... and tell me the "he" in these verses don't describe the person selling the programs to the parents?  Polaroid Babies?  Not quite - but adequate to describe the devout followers.

===
Calling it Quits - Aimee Mann
-Bachelor No. 2 (or the last remains of the dodo)

He?s a serious master
Shake his hand and he?ll twist your arm
With monopoly money
We?ll be buying the funny farm
So I?ll do flips,
And get paid in chips
From a diamond as big as the Ritz--
Then I?m calling it quits

Eyes the color of candy
Lies to cover the handicap
Though your slippers are ruby
You?ll be led to the booby trap
And there?s no prize,
Just a smaller size
So I?m wearing the shoe til it fits--
Then I?m calling it quits

Now he?s numbering himself among the masterminds
Cause he?s hit upon the leverage of valentines
Lifting dialogue from Judy Garland storylines
Where get-tough girls turn into goldmines

But oh, those polaroid babies
Taking chances with rabies
Happy to tear me to bits--
Well, I?m calling it quits
Yes, I?m calling it quits.

Maybe this could help y'all figure out whats going on in the mind of niles... here are two songs I REALLY like and am listening to a lot when 'Im rocking out' (Petermann, eat your fucking heart out <3)

Jerk-Off

Use to be a bunch of assholes that lived in this part of the building here,
but we systematically removed them like you would any kind of termite or roach (This is just spoken at the intro... read into it what you will, the song itself beings below)

Someone told me once
that there's a right and wrong,
and that punishment
would come to those
who dare to cross the line.

But it must not be true
for jerk-offs like you.
Maybe it takes longer to catch a total asshole.
but I'm tired of waiting.
Maybe it's just bullshit and I should play GOD,
and shoot you myself.
Because I'm tired of waiting.

Consequences dictate
our course of action
and it doesn't matter what's right.
It's only wrong if you get caught.
If consequences dictate
my course of action
I should play GOD
and shoot you myself.
I'm very tired of waiting.

I should
kick you,
beat you,
fuck you,
and then shoot you in your fucking head.

Intolerance

I don't want to be hostile
And I don't want to be dismal
But I don't want to rot in
An apathetic existance

See, I want to believe you
And I wanted to trust you
And I want to have faith to
Put away the dagger

But you lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
And yet I tolerate you

You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
And yet I tolerate you

Veil of virtue hung to hide your method
While I smileing and laughing and dance
And sing and praise your glory
Shroud of virtue hung to mask your stigma
As I smile and laugh and dance
And sing your glory
While you

Lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
How can I tolerate you?

You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
How can I tolerate?

Our guilt, our blame
I've been far too sympathetic
Our blood, our fault
I've been far too sympathetic

I am not innocent
You are not innocent
No one is innocent

You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal

You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal

You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
(crescendo)
You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal
You lie, cheat and steal

I will no longer tolerate you
Even if I must go down beside you
I must go down beside you
No one is innocent

say what you will about the sweet miracle of unquestioning faith, I consider a capacity for it terrifying and absolutely vile.
--Kurt Vonnegut, American author

BLACK SABBATH - "Into the Void" From Master of Reality:

Rocket engines burning fuel so fast
Up into the night sky they blast
Through the Universe the engines whine
Could it be the end of man and time ??
Back on Earth the flame of life burns low
Everywhere is misery and woe
Pollution kills the air, the land, the sea
Man prepares to meet his destiny.

Rocket engines burning fuel so fast
Up into the black sky so vast
Burning metal through the atmosphere
Earth remains in worry, hate and fear.
With the hateful battles raging on
Rockets flying to the glowing sun.
Through the empires of eternal void.
Freedom from the final suicide.

Freedom fighters sent out to the sun
Escape from brainwashed minds and pollution.
Leave the Earth to all it's sin and hate
Find another world where freedom waits.
Past the stars in fields of ancient void
Through the shields of darkness where they find
Love upon a land a world unknown
Where the sons of Freedom make their home.
Leave the Earth to Satan and his slaves
Leave them to their future in their graves
Make a home where love is there to stay
Peace and happiness in every day.

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

That song fucking RULES. Reminds me of my thoughts as a child and a teenager.

Nothing is denied to well-directed labor, and nothing is ever to be
attained without it.

METALLICA - "For Whom the Bell Tolls" from Ride the Lightning

Make his fight on the hill in the early day
Constant chill deep inside
Shouting gun, on they run through the endless grey
On they fight, for they are right, yes but who's to say ??
For a hill men would kill, why ??  They do not know
Suffered wounds test their pride
Men of 5, still alive through the raging glow
Gone insane from the pain that they surely know

For whom the bell tolls
Time marches on
For whom the bell tolls

Take a look to the sky just before you die
It is the last time he will
Blackened roar massive roar fills the crumbling sky
Shattered goal fills his soul with a ruthless cry
Stranger now, are his eyes, to this mystery
He hears the silence so loud
Crack of dawn, all is gone except the will to be
Now they see what will be, blinded eyes to see

For whom the bell tolls
Time marches on
For whom the bell tolls

METALLICA - "Escape" from the "Ride the Lightning" album(1984)

Feel no pain, but my life aint easy
I know I'm my best friend
No one cares, but I'm so much stronger
I'll fight until the end
To escape from the true false world
Undamaged destiny
Can't get caught in the endless circle
Ring of stupidity

Out for my own, out to be free
One with my mind, they just can't see
No need to hear things that they say
Life's for my own to live my own way

Rape my mind and destroy my feelings
Don't tell me what to do
I don't care now, 'cause I'm on my side
And I can see through you
Feed my brain with your so-called standards
Who says that I aint right
Break away from your common fashion
See through your blurry sight

Out for my own, Out to be free
One with my mind, they just can't see
No need to hear things that they say
Life's for my own to live my own way

See them try to bring the hammer down
No damn chains can hold me to the ground

Life's for my own to live my own way...
Life's for my own to live my own way...
Life's for my own to live my own way...

See...Metallica was like my favorite band jus' before i was kidnapped by the str8 cult.  i was a bad heavy metal listenin' anarchist hippie kid who knew better than to believe the lies i was told.  i wouldn' go to school.  Metallica validated my beliefs.  i'm still pretty much the same.  My experience in str8 only strengthened my conviction that all authority is false.

Today i was listenin' to "Ride the Lightning".  First i put on "For Whom the Bell Tolls".  i was listenin' to all the words real close.  That was followed rather serendipituosly by "Fade To Black".  i had a lot of profound thoughts this mornin' while i was listenin' to the music. Peace.

I am Governor Jerry Brown
My aura smiles
And never frowns
Soon I will be president

Carter power will soon go away
I will be Fuhrer one day
I will command all of you
Your kids will meditate in school

California Uber Alles
Uber Alles California

Zen fascists will control you
100% natural
You will jog for the master race
And always wear the happy face

Close your eyes, can't happen here
Big Bro' on white horse is near
The hippies won't come back you say
Mellow out or you will pay

California Uber Alles
Uber Alles California

Now it is 1984
Knock knock at your front door
It's the suede/denim secret police
They have come for your uncool neice

Come quitely to the camp
You'd look nice as a drawstring lamp
Don't you worry, it's only a shower
For your clothes here's a pretty flower

Die on organic poison gas
Serpent's egg's already hatched
You will crack, you little clown
When you mess with President Brown

California Uber Alles
Uber Alles California

Last call for alcohol.
Last call for your freedom of speech.
Drink up. Happy hour is now enforced by law.
Don't forget our house special, it's called a Trickie Dickie Screwdriver.
It's got one part Jack Daniels, two parts purple Kool-Aid,
and a jigger of formaldehyde
from the jar with Hitler's brain in it we got in the back storeroom.
Happy trails to you. Happy trails to you.

I am Emperor Ronald Reagan
Born again with fascist cravings
Still, you made me president

Human rights will soon go 'way
I am now your Shah today
Now I command all of you
Now you're going to pray in school
I'll make sure they're Christian too

California Uber alles
Uber alles California

Ku Klux Klan will control you
Still you think it's natural
Nigger knockin' for the master race
Still you wear the happy face

You closed your eyes, can't happen here
Alexander Haig is near
Vietnam won't come back you say
Join the army or you will pay

California Uber alles
Uber alles California

Yeah, that's it. Just relax.
Have another drink, few more pretzels, little more MSG.
Turn on those Dallas Cowboys on your TV.
Lock your doors. Close your mind.
It's time for the two-minute warning.

Welcome to 1984
Are you ready for the third world war?!?
You too will meet the secret police
They'll draft you and they'll jail your niece

You'll go quitely to boot camp
They'll shoot you dead, make you a man
Don't you worry, it's for a cause
Feeding global corporations' claws

Die on our brand new poison gas
El Salvador or Afghanistan
Making money for President Reagan
And all the friends of President Reagan

California Uber alles
Uber alles California
