I went to Burleson, Comstock and Spruce!!!
I'm a couple of years older than you, but started school a year early, so I may have been a grade ahead of you. It is also possible we were in the same grade. Is Baker your maiden or married name?

Which girls home were you sent to? When and why? How did your parents hear about it? How long were you there? Do you think it had any bearing on your choice of an abusive partner?

Yeh, things were different back then. I'm sorry for the abuse you and your baby endured, and that there was no one to intervene for either of you.

Good advice. Women frequently feel they have no options.
