Why do you people love to gossip?

Question for the student who "saw no abuse at Whitmore:"
Did you ever see a student denied food as a form of punishment?
Ever see a kid's journal read aloud in group?
Ever heard of the "duck room" or the "shelf?"
Ever see a kid made to wear "the clothes?"
Ever seen a kid's head shaved?
Ever say a kid pushed, shoved, slapped--just a little when the kid was really really being a total JERK?
Ever heard a minority kid being called a "nigger?
Ever kept up til the wee hours for GROUP?
Ever have to skip breakfast and lunch because the kids were going to eat dinner at a BUFFET?
Ever see a bad kid spit on?

Ever see any of this?

And you don't think that is abuse??  You have a misconstrued view on the word abuse, then.  Was anyone forced to live in the closet on the third floor while you were there?  

Yes, a closet, not even a closet you could stand up in.  It was about three feet high, maybe 6 feet long.  Big enough to sleep in.

i never said that i didn't think that was abuse. i witnesses a lot of it. and kids were made to sleep in the closet on the second floor when were you there??

Actually the duck room is very nice. I lived in there for half the time I was there.

The "duck room" has some bad memories for some students. Cheryl ordered the boy who was abused be taken to the "duck room" and he was beaten in there for 3 hours straight. So he sure wouldn't say it was a nice room. Not at all. Just try to imagine being beat up that long. Terrible!

nope--it's at the Mansion. Ask MS. Cheryl..she knows. When she's in a rage during a GROUP and screams "Get him the hell out of here!" That just might be where HE ends up.
