Very curious indeed.  By responding with an email, they can be matched to any anonymous posts they've made elsewhere.  Sounds like a fishing expedition.

There is the possibility though that someone is actually doing the research they should.  It doesn't happen often.  Normally they can hear dozens of horror stories, but the first time they hear what they want to hear ("HLA is great.  Those kids are all liars"), the deal is sealed.

Really, if you think it all the way through, it could be almost anyone. Could be a jounalist. Could be a fan of Rbt Kennedy Jr. or Maia Szalavitz taking an avid interest in the subject. Could be a troll or a stalker. You do just never know. Could be a former Seedling or Synnanite or one of Bob Meehan's former captives all grown up and full a piss n vinigar.

I sure would like to get a look at some of those message headers.
