It was medical research. And it has been used as reference by PACs and policy makers. Where the hell do you think they get those numbers to prop up their claims of people seeking treatment for marijuana addiction? Some of it came from the unfortunate strangers who fell under Schwartz's authority for a time.
I think that means something and I think people who currently regard any of his research, writings, musings or doltish utterances as credible or meaningful are entitled to a clearer picture of the source of the information.
