Straight INK T-shirts

My thoughts are that the problem with a memorial list of names is that there are likely 100's, maybe 1000's of names that we don't yet know about who have lost their lives after STRAIGHT.  I'd hate for the unknown to go unrecognized.

I hear you there. I was just brainstorming on Erinys idea. I know that when I had a booth on Earth Day, people who could relate to being abused, or who worked at treatment facilities flocked to the booth. For 8 hours I talked with all kinds of people on the subject.

I was also thinking that the "POW/war on drugs" saying might be taken as a joke until a little research was done on the subject such as asking, or going to the website. But that's our point in all of this right? To have a voice, and to have people listen and respond to the fact that this stuff still goes on right now, everyday?

So I guess no matter what, it's a subject that some people will turn a blind eye to no matter what it says.

Hello! and I'm flattered by the recognition.  
I have another thought for you. Have you ever experimented with making iron-on transfers instead of printing shirts?

There is heat transfer paper available that can be run through a standard printer.

Cheaper and easier to haul around than shirts, plus folks can put it on whatever they like.

If I just pay the set up fees and the print fees, you guys could send me a shirt to print and I'll send it back! That would be the cheapest route. I'll find out next week what that would cost per shirt. Shipping is extra but just a few dollars.

THAT would be hilarious!  And  what fun in the design session!  I'll start.

Uniforms cut and tailored in the style of military cammies, but made of wild Op Art fabric.  (you know, the black and white swirls, checks, zig zags that make your head spin) The correct footwear would be either Doc Martens or sandals with (bright  red) socks.
The uniform would be complete with a bowler hat worn tipped over  one eye (like Alex in A  Clockwork Orange).

Anyone else?

Now, Earth Day is soon, and I need to know if people will actually pay for these if I have them made. Right now theoretically I have about 6 called for. Froderik, what about you?

Also, as much as I appreciated the idea, I'm not making them myself this year. I just don't have the time. So they'll be professionally done. I'm still considering changing the font to more of a newspaper or typewriter font.

Erinys, your design wins it looks like. :grin: I think it was perfect anyway. Would we have the crotch guards, though? :wink:
