Thanks for posting this. I remember the name "Peggy Hurly" well. And that's the 1st time that I've heard her mentioned since coming to these boards. I can't picture her, but if I saw a photo, I'd remember her. The guy being sat on was probably (if you don't already know this) Jeff Pokorney. He had a sister named Kim...

If this happened in VA, it happened before I came in the program, (i.e. 11-6-82) or I just don't remember it.

Rich, Do you remember a guy from the mayflower group named Billy Jory? (Dark brown/black wavy hair) He was the only other kid from the Baltimore area in there at that time...

Hi Rich, I remember being a sardine there at GULAG5515. I have posted about that day before as I can still feel the cold wet "everyone else's sweat" drenched jeans I had on sitting in a quarter inch deep puddle of fuckin condensation. That was led I believe by SCOTT Prophett. Scott was a mean MO FO, for sure. I have some of his office memos here on file that prove it! I think he broke his back working a few years ago and that's about all I know about him now. Sardine room, wow, I had not heard anyone say anything about that day till you did. Thank you for being here. I was a bigger one too, so I restrained a dude named Paul A. We met again about 6 years ago, and then once more last summer, no problems, he is "over it" so to speak and wants nothing to do with the memories of that place. I got set back because I wrote a poem about him. Deany Mistretta was in on that one. Open meeting review.  :smokin:

:eek: The fucked up part was that we all seemed to think it was like a right of passage or something. :eek:

I guess it was another example of how Straight taught us to brainwash our selves. Once it got in my head all the freakish social more' became ok. I really think that is the part that was the and is the hardest to put down.

both va programs were based on some former
hay day of the "round the world" or 4 corners"
or "bomb squad " sessions if i recall that were
the best way to get out of group, right?

I CAN ONLY SAY THAT JUST RECENTLY HAVE I BEEN ABLE TO OPEN UP AND TELL MY MOM ALL THE HORRIFIC SHIT THAT WENT ON AT STRAIGHT. I WAS THERE FOR ONLY A FEW MONTHS BUT THAT WAS ENOUGH TO CHANGE MY LIFE FOREVER. I WAS MADE TO FEEL LIKE A WAS WOTHLESS, USELESS, PIECE OF SHIT DRUGGIE AND MIND YOU THAT I NEVER EVEN DID DRUGS. BUT AFTER GETTING OUT I DID START DOING DRUGS BECAUSE I WAS BRAINWASHED INTO THINKING I WAS A DRUGGIE FOR ALL THAT TIME SO I FIGURED FUCK IT MY LIFE IS A COMPLETE WASTE ANYWAYS. I WAS DIAGNOSED AS A KID WITH ADD/ADHD SO YOU CAN JUST IMAGINE ALL THE SHIT THEY PUT ME THROUGH. I HAD TO BE TAKEN TO THE E.R. BECAUSE I WAS KICKED SOOOO HARD THAT I ACTUALLY STARTED TO SHIT BLOOD. DO YOU THINK MY MOM WAS EVER NOTIFIED? NOT    ::jawdrop::   I WAS LIKE YEAH RIGHT WHAT COULD BE WORSE THAN THIS PLACE BECAUSE ANIMALS AND GOD DAMNED CRIMINALS HAD A WHOLE HELL OF A LOT MORE RIGHTS THAN WE DID. I NEVER TOLD MY MOM ABOUT THE SHIT THAT WENT ON THERE BECAUSE IT JUST HURT ME TOO MUCH TO TALK ABOUT IT AND I ENDED UP HATING MY MOM AND HOLDING THIS MAJOR GRUDGE AGAINST HER FOR ALMOST 14 YEARS NOW. IT TOOK A LONG TIME TO GET IT OUT BUT I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER NOW THAT I HAVE. MY MOM AND I STILL HAVE OUR MOMENTS BUT WE ARE FINALLY GETTING TO THE POINT WHERE WE ACTUALLY HAVE A DESCENT REALTIONSHIP AGAIN.    :question:

Don't apologize for anything Heather. This forum (straight testimony) is for "life stories", so to speak. I hope you'll post again. It's good that you've been able to resolve things with your mom. Some parents were clueless, and some would have been willling to believe straight if they had told them that the sky is green. Nothing wrong with long posts. One request: please don't post in ALL CAPS...(unless you're yelling at someone in particular, lol)
