No, I usually save the drinking for afterwards.  We did listen to that song, though (as we smoked TBPITW)

Corrosion of conformity - live volume dealer

I remember my old friend Strazz would always wear one of their T-Shirts. They were pretty popular with some of the ppl I knew back in 85-#.

This Neil Young CD that I have, Freedom, is produced by "The Volume Dealers" (Neil Young and Niko Bolas) This is a good one, SS. It has Rockin' In the Free World on it...acoustic and electric versions.

What do you think of the white stripes and kaiser chiefs albums?
I caught both groups on vh1 earlier this morning and thought kaiser sounded pretty tight and was wondering about their album.
They are playing a ton of u2 today on the radio and music channels. Playing elevation right now...looking forward to tonight show.

I haven't heard the Chief's album, just the one song.  Saw them on Letterman a week or so back, thought they were good.  Looked like 60s mods.

The White Stripes I fucking adore....Elephant is a great record, and so is White Blood Cells.  They're recording the new one for release later this year, it's supposed to be as different from Elephant as Elephant was from White Blood Cells.  Can't wait.

Steeleye Span - lowlands of holland, one night as I lay on my bed

Camper Van Beethoven - jack ruby, when I win the lottery, I was born in a laundromat, borderline, the humid press of days

The Rolling Stones - 2000 man, citadel, gomper, 2000 light years from home, the lantern, moonlight mile, sister morphine, can't you hear me knocking

I have White Blood Cells, but I never listen to it. Guess I wasn't that impressed.....have they found a bass player yet?
I think they have one now, right?

Not bad...

Kaiser Chiefs - I Predict A Riot

What is it these days, though? A lot of stuff sounds so 80's. Can it be true that the 80's are coming back? Egadz...I lived thru 'em once- that was enough, lol.
