Well I have always loved them Floyd Boys. Guess I always will. Just a shame the kiddies had to sue for their well deserved royalities. I guess a copy of the album an braggin rights wasn't quite good enough, after all.
Wonder what it'll come to now - after all these years?

Has anyone else here heard about a "rehydrated" Pink Floyd tour (Roger Waters rejoining for the tour)?  I heard a rumor but can't confirm it anywhere.  I really don't like them without Waters, although a couple of the newer songs are OK.  Hope the rumor is true....

I do seriously doubt it.
I don't think they will ever tour as Pink Floyd again - and absolutly never with Roger.
They all seem to have lost interest in life on the road. I heard a BBC interview with Dave and he sounded pretty sure they wouldn't be touring again.
I wish they would.
A Pink Floyd show is a truly awsome experaince.

As for Rog -
Again, I have heard interviews (or read the transripts) of not only Dave but of Rick and Nick as well; and they all are very clear that working with Rog again would be their worst nightmare.

He apparently has a difficult personality to get along with.

Do you have a copy of the Division Bell? I like it a lot. If you enjoy Pink Floyd, I expect you'd enjoy that cd. Roger may be missing from the ensamble, but I believe there is a song or two about Roger on there.

. . . Can you see your days blighted by darkness?
Is it true you beat your fist on the floor?
Stuck in a world of isolation
While the ivy grows over the door.

So - I open my door to my enemies
And I asked, Can we wipe the slate clean?
But they tell me to please go and fuck myself
You know - you just can't win.

Gilmour's said a zillion times, the Division Bell's not about Roger.

Pink Floyd (Gilmour/Mason/Wright) may tour again, according to Nick Mason late last year, but Gilmour's still being a lazy bastard. (I don't blame him -- in his words, it takes 2 YEARS, 24/7, to put together a Floyd album and tour)

Roger Waters is supposed to put out a solo album this year and tour in 2006.

If he said it WAS about Rog - Rog might drag his lazy ass through court again!

But the reason I revisit this thread:

http://home.hetnet.nl/~nickgielkens/who_symfoindex.htm

One of several good sites. This one seems to keep updated; whereas many others don't.

Back to Dave and Rog and the Floydian wars -
Of corse the Division Bell isn't about Rog - but I think some of the cutts are - and some of the lines in some of the cutts are. It just fits. And, it is typical Floydian behavior. They write and compose about their lives, their friends/enemies, all the time. For example, Wish you were Here - the Syd Barret memorial. Learning to Fly - about Dave's flying lessons. There are many such examples.

But - I could be wrong. . .

I am just supposing.
