good and bad
« on: November 10, 2004, 03:31:00 PM »
As I have read these messages I feel both good and bad about the seed. I do indeed wish I could go back to July 1st, 1974 and sit on the front row. I thought I was adopted by a top secret organization that was going to change the world for the better. In truth it was all a pipe dream. Thousands of kids were helped and I was one of them. Bye-bye seed

Why would you wish for such a thing?

That's one of the scariest statements I've ever read.

 :scared:  :scared:  :scared:  :scared:

Why on Earth would you want to do that???

I understand that. You felt special, powerful at times - and weak and helpless at others.

I was 19. I thought I was saving the world.

However, I wouldn't go back. I should have taken that cross-country road trip instead!

(Would it have worked out better? Who knows?)

I think the only reason I would ever want to be back on the front row is so that I could actually do something leave that place.   Remember that song the Beach Boys sang about the Sloop John B ? THAT was the song in my head - hoist the sails. Too bad I was just a kid and didn't know any better.  That song still makes my heart ache sometimes...

:smokin:

The question before the human race is, whether the God of nature shall govern the world by his own laws, or whether priests and kings shall rule it by fictitious miracles.
