March 13, 1973; that is the day the course of my life forever changed.  A little over 31 years ago.  My parents thought they were doing the right thing, they must have bought that line - "do the right thing and the right thing will happen"  They put me in and out popped a totally compliant person who could be contolled with just a few simple words and phrases.

Well, there are other momentous occassions that I guess I would rather remember.  Isn't it funny though, that these dates are so etched in our minds?  I wonder - what do you suppose the significane is of not being able to remember the date they let me go? Is is that deep or just that unimportant?

I don't remember either date; my intake or my final escape. I only remember that they were in October of `80 and `82 (and I still have to do the math to verify that!)

But I never fully bought in. No, that's not true. I bought in and bought out again sometime between the ages of 7 and 14. Those were private moments, no one knew, celebrated or commemorated.

It's been just about 31 years for me.  It was the best decision that was ever made for me.  The Seed literally saved my life of which I am eternally grateful.

Antigen,
I'm with you on this.  I do know the going-in date but not the getting free date.  What's really better than any of those dates though, is the date I figured out the connection between what my life has been like for the last 30 years and where and when the program seed was planted in my brain.  Now that's a date to remember...Thanks to all of you for making that connection possible.

The question should be, "where did all the good people go?" :nods:
