Saw his brother in NY shortly after I split Straight..looked just like himm. Remember the movie "Rokin Roll High School" poor cinema but entertaining none the less

Yeah R&R High School was a fun movie....they actually wanted Cheap Trick to be the band...I don't think that would have been nearly as good, and I like Cheap Trick.  P.J. Soles was too cute in that flick....

Last time I saw the Ramones was the night before the Oklahoma City bombing--- it was weird waking up to the news footage of that after a night of great rock and roll.....

First Joey, then Dee Dee, now Johnny...I hope Marky, Ritchie, Tommy, and C.J. are doing OK.

Leave Home... I borrowed that album and had it for a while before I went into straight.
Of course it was lost in the "shuffle."
One of my favorites...

A cool thing happened on this day at my house. I was keeping my nephew, and he was 2 months old at the time, and crying his little head off, so I turned on the radio, and "Beat on the Brat" was on, so I turned it up - he went right to sleep.

Apparently The Ramones at loud volumes makes babies sleep peacefully.

The same sort of thing happened when my oldest daughter was tired one afternoon back when she was probably 2 years old...she fell asleep to that Hardcore DEVO album (Volume One 1974-1977) while laying on my stomach..

My daughter loved Van Morrison when she was a baby. That and Dinosaur Jr.
