Putting bodily fluids on someone without their permission is battery and a suit should be filed immediately.  This is a perfect example of the passive aggressive nature that has manifested at CEDU since the blantant aggressive/abusive techniques have been pushed under the rug.

It is the tip of the iceburg.

Er? I don't remember Glenn licking anyone while I was there. Care to tell the tail a bit more thouroughly?

I remember Glenn being a bit off the wall. I remember being on a hike with him at one point, and he picked a piece of moose crap off the ground, showed us how to use it to determine what the animal had been eating, and then popped a second one in his mouth.

Incidentally I have to agree with Guest three. Glenn and his wife Lisa are two of maybe five staff from NWA that I would greet with unreserved warmth to this day.

From an AP article on abuse in public schools
Quote
Like Lindsey, the perpetrators that the AP found are everyday educators — teachers, school psychologists, principals and superintendents among them. They're often popular and recognized for excellence and, in nearly nine out of 10 cases, they're male. While some abused students in school, others were cited for sexual misconduct after hours that didn't necessarily involve a kid from their classes, such as viewing or distributing child pornography.

I'm just saying don't dismiss it cause the dude wasn't an asshole......

Well thats too bad. Fuck me. Why is it that even when I want to think well of staff from that place it ends up being impractical?

Glen once licked the side of my face, too.  He was like an older brother to me and those of us who hung out with him rough-housed pretty badly.  If it had only been between students people would have gotten sent to Survival.  I think the day he licked my face I had made the mistake of tackling him while on hike... in the show.  A group followed my lead and attacked.  He kind of threw us off one by one (he was way stronger than any of us), then grabbed me, fell on me knocking the air out of me, licked my cheek, and then jumped up.  It was a hazing for sure -- he more or less kicked my ass -- and from what I remember, it was fun as hell.

in his first year 88/89 he gave me an open palmed heisman to the face while playing touch football.  it put my tooth almost all the way through my bottom lip. I can feel the scar with my tongue.......  way to go tough guy - steam roll and head plant a 16 year old that's 1/2 your size just cuz you don't have ego control and were intimidated by a student's exceptional safety skills. I do remember picking myself up off the grass and thinking to myself "holy shit RMA has turned me soft and impotent. I'd like to kick this glen guys ass but first I'll need to do some writing assignments, run my shit and then reflect on my brothers keeper propheet to deal with this situation properly."

the morale of this story is - on the football field, don't trust anyone with a dickduster (moustache).

I went there from 90-93, was in PG 42, and I knew Glenn Sutton very well, and he was a great guy. I do remember him being very playful, loved to horse around, play sports, and that's why I liked him so much. I do remember him licking people (myself included) but it was never done with any intent other than pure horse play.

He was one of the few people there who made it tolerable, Bruce & Nils as well. I guess I can see how in todays overly PC enviroment, plus all the other added RMA troubles from 1990-2004, how this could lead to him leaving.

He was and I'm sure still is a good man, and I'm saddened to hear about what happened.

And there was never a student in the history of RMA that would ever have a chance of kicking Glenn's ass, even today with the student fully grown & Glenn 15 years older...that man was a beast.

wasn't he a special forces dude before he went and worked at Vision Quest?

He was big and licked...rather like a happy St. Bernard with special operations training.

what does it mean if you defend an adult licking a child's face? One who evidently didn't like it. Do you? Lick minors' faces? I'm just curious because, you know...I might just like to watch something like that. I mean now that I'm a consenting adult anyway?
shaking head. he licks their faces? what the fuck?

I can't recall him ever mentioning work with special forces. You sure Glenn is the guy you are thinking about?
