this is still our country, lets get rid of bushwacker!!!!!!!!!!

"U.S. Blues"
Words by Robert Hunter; music by Jerry Garcia
Copyright Ice Nine Publishing; used by permission

Red and white/blue suede shoes
I'm Uncle Sam /how do you do?
Gimme five/I'm still alive
Ain't no luck/I learned to duck

Check my pulse/it don't change
Stay seventy two/come shine or rain
Wave the flag/pop the bag
Rock the boat/skin the goat

Wave that flag
Wave it wide and high
Summertime
Done come and gone
My oh my

I'm Uncle Sam /that's who I am
Been hidin' out/in a rock and roll band
Shake the hand that shook the hand
Of P.T. Barnum/and Charlie Chan

Shine your shoes/light your fuse
Can you use/them ol' U.S. Blues?
I'll drink your health/share your wealth
Run your life/steal your wife

Wave that flag
Wave it wide and high
Summertime done
Come and gone
My oh my

Back to back/chicken shack
Son of a gun/better change your act
We're all confused/what's to lose?
You can call this song/the United States Blues

Wave that flag
Wave it wide and high
Summertime done come and gone
My oh My
Summertime done come and gone
My oh My

none for right now, maybe phish at camden, to say good bye and all.. but im moving this summer, relocating to the sunny San Fernando Valley in southern California. on wednesday i fly out there to look at a few apartments, and to do a few job interviews. hopefully upon my return (to Philly) i will have landed a job  and found a phatty pad (in Cali). i just took on a second job,; delivering pizzas!!! its cool though, i work for these chill Israeli dudes and I did all of my deliveries on foot, scaled the entire old city, 6 hours and 45$ in tips, a retarded monkey could do this  work but $ is $!.. last summer i did the entire west coast leg of phish tour, and most of it sucked, i spent like 5 grand and have practically nothing to show for it, except fuzzy memories of some ok jamming.  soo im done with that, but a show here and there is always good for the soul.  ok, i have been hangin' with Jack Herer**** since i got off of work, so im tired and ready for bed.. : by the way im gonna be chillin with Beth Galagher  during my 3 hour lay-over at midway.. she rocks my world!!!

I got a very good arsenal of fireworks this year, was lighting some off last night. I got some really good Rom,an candles and festival balls that light up the sky.
Also got alot of rockets, some 20 oz. ones that do a great job of filling the sky.

put one tablespoon of gun powder in an empty 2 litre bottle, leave the cap on put a hole in the side of the bottle about the diameter of a cigarette. put a slice in the bottle in another upper location and place a fuse from a firecracker in the slice so a third of it goes into the bottle.

Position the fuse above the pile of powder. Light it and run.

Loudest bang in the neighborhood I assure you.

Buy some dry ice, break it into small pieces. Get some empty 2 litre bottles

Make sure the bottles are DRY!

Drop pieces of dry ice into the bottle, about a quarter cup.

Get the cap ready. Put about a quarter cup of COLD water in the bottle and quickly put the cap on and throw it in to a lake or river (off the side of the boat is what I do)

When the dry ice temp contrasts with the water in the lake or river, the bottle will quikly expand and cause an unfreakinbelievable explosion which will send a large amount of water skyward.

This is hella loud too, loud enough to get cops to the shore wondering who has the dynamite.

Brings some fish to the top too!

they fucked us with fireworks here in philly, no show at Penns landing, im only a block a way from the river, so it would have been nice.. plenty of blue and red cop lights to go around, though.

Interesting, never knew dry ice could do that.
