Not that nice to Granny. I was there when someone's grandfather came to visit, tripped on the f#$&^ing rug in the office - the same one everyone complained about - broke his pelvis, and DIED FROM IT!!! And CEDU told me to shut up about it and not tell anyone. How about that?

"What moves me is "the love the staff has for the children"?!!!!! This is so frustrating. We were bullied, deceived, and verbally abused DAILY. YOu know what really pisses me off? Many of us students weren't liars or cheats. Many of us were just depressed or suffering low self esteem. The CEDU culture encourages lying because they they bully you into verifying false stories about yourself. Yes, they scared some kids into zombies. :em: I guess some moms and pops welcome the Stepford kid returning from wack land. For God'd sake, they were only nice when Granny came visit.
OK. I end my rant. FOR NOW.

I did in fact split. And it was LUCK that I made it. Home was 3 hours away. My friends were prohibited frompicking me up. It was abig ordeal just to make it into town. THere are two telephones and the police knew EXACTLY where they were. I satyed with a lady for one week in RS and then hse brought me home to San Diego. THe only way out would be hitchhiking which could be a disaster.
They kept kids in with scare stories like the one about the girl whose arms were chopped off etc. They had your parents lie that you would be sent to juvie or lock up if you left. And I, like many others, was not a danger to myself or other people. I was definitely not a kid who belonged in lock up. I later learned from my folks that CEDU told them they had to say this or we would die or something(from imaginary addictions etc.).
So to the grandma who says "you can leave anytime"--that is a joke. And it was on us.

i love how they used to tell us that at cedu.... they'd be like "this isn't a lockdown, we have no locks [except on their offices, of course]" they didn't need locks, they had our minds on lock.
Investigator:
