Has anyone here dated, or even become seriously involved romanticly with someone else who was in treatment?

I would love to hear some points of veiw relative to the subject, I have dated someone for a short time that was in Elan befrore I was...It was a long time ago but I dont recall anything negative about the experience.

Its not a mystery that any sort of persons with emotional problems shouldnt date those who are also emotionaly unstable. On the other hand, if weaknesses and strengths difer, wouldnt each person offer a positive flow to the other in some cases?

I am just trying to establish a general concensus that dating a fellow TC survivor is more likely a bad idea, or a good one and would like to know if dating someone I was in Elan with 20 years ago might have negatives or positives I have not recognized yet.

I knew staff that dated at Elan.Marty and Marc dated briefly until Marc found out that Marty was having an affair with Joe Ricci.
Claire Woodman dated all of Elan one, for it was impossible for her to keep her legs closed to anything.
As of current I do beleive Marc Rosenberg is dating his crack pipe, and Marty is dating his tomahawk.

I wouldn't say "date" but I got to kiss the boy that I used to have a crush when I was in Elan. I found out he's not quite the person I thought he was. No regrets, I had to see it for myself.
