What's the deal with Dan

Just curious as to why he gets such a bad rap.I know he wrote a book about Joe.I read the 1st 4 chapters at least.What I've read seems plausible.Sure he want's to make a buck,so what?There must be some other reason I'm not aware of.

Doug says he's a gardener at a private school and showed us some evidence of that. He may not be in the Virgin Islands at all . Its hard to tell.

Hmm,That's not enough for me to call him a jack-ass.There are a lot of people that don't like elan that aren't students.Teachers mostly.Too gung ho?Probably,but he is who's side?I would think someone who knows Joe outside elan,ie;scarborough downs,would be an asset in showing what a sociopath Joe was

I bet a lot of us would have credibility problems.So what if he is a groundskeeper.I could give a shit if he was dishwasher,has he made claims that are false?Other than living in the virgin islands.It seems I sent an e-mail to him in the virgin islands because I wanted a copy of duck.I like the sounds of a class action lawsuit.That seems more likely than a movie(no offense Jordo)though not very f-n likely.

Funny how people will talk about the dummest shit for weeks around here,but if you ask a direct pointed question it is sidestepped.Thanx for the reply Robert.I worked at scarborough downs after Elan and a lot of what he describes is accurate.So why do so many people think he is full of shit?

The last of Dan's post's at jackie's site were in Sept of 2003 and no-one over there seems to have a problem with him including you Art.But I remember when I first found out about the Elan sites(Kens and David's)years ago,he was regularly attacked by elan supporters.I didn't think he would recieve that kind of treatment here.I am relatively new here,but have been around others on and off(mostly off)for years.I've given up on Jackie's board because for some reason I can't post anything.
