Student seeks Kids of NJ & Bergen Co. Info.
« on: July 08, 2002, 05:05:00 PM »
I am a student a Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in NYC working on a story about KIDS of North Jersey and Bergen County. I've already met with and spoken to some of the people on this board and I am looking for more people to speak with about their experience in the program. I recently attended the Florida survivors conference and I know a lot about the program itself.

I can be reached at [email protected].

Best Regards:

You left a voicemail on my cellphone shortly after the Trebach Conference inquiring about the same.
I'm more than happy to give you whatever information you desire for your story.
Please call me again or email me at [email protected]

I am coming to the end my master's project, I have to finish in three weeks, however I am still interested in interviewing people and will continue on this story after I turn in what I have to for school with the aim of getting it published.

Yeah sure.  The story of my life, for your thesis.  I hope grad school went well and equally I hope you maintain your word and continue research beyond graduation.
I think many would like a copy of your final thesis for review.  Please let us know what library it will be housed in or where copies can be obtained.  Many have researched this for decades and still don't have the full story.

Anonymous,

I will graduate in May 2003. All master's projects for the class of 2003, including my project, will be bound in the summer of 2003 and then shelved in the journalism school library. The journalism school is at 116th St. and Broadway on the Columbia University campus in New York City. Some past master's projects have been published in the New York Times, the Village Voice or elsewhere, and some did not get published.
