"I am a journalist associated with the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University in New York and am working on a series of stories about adolescents affected by mental illness who get caught up in the juvenile justice system. In New York, it's a system that fails to recognize that mental illness plays a role in behavior that the courts consider to be criminal. I am looking for families in the New York City area that would be able to add input to my story."
