Hey, nazi, the same applies to you, dear. Are you angry  ? Damn, I didn't think you cared about what I said... Guess not. Maybe you should just let go cause I sure as hell wasn't talking to you. Do yourself a favor: Go back to school, maybe you'll learn something.

Dave McVety was the man. He was the staff assigned to my family. He was the only staff that didnt seem to have a vendetta against us kids. I talked to him last december. I remember when he would always yell at me in morning meeting for falling asleep or something and say " Listen here Asshole take responsibility" then put a cough drop in his mouth

oh and i forgot to mention his two famous words "BOTTOM LINE" when Ellis H and I started mimicing dave within a week all of e7 was doing it a day later the house was on a ban from mimicing him. During a special meal Ellis was a monk meditatating in front of everyone, I was by the door in the stairs and no staff could see me, so I put my arms out spread eagle like dave and mouthed bottom line asshole, then ellis broke out laughing

Dave is actually the only one up at Elan that is certified to help out troubled teens. He should be the one in charge of running the entire place.Dave is a good guy, and I feel sorry that he has to be surrounded by all the scumbag employees.
I wonder how Dave copes with all the bullshit lewdness that the other staff seem to perform?

I would have to agree that Dave was by far one of the best staff in elan. He was always up front with you wiether you like it or not. He might have been there for the pay check but at least he was an asshole like some.COnsider that.

you know there were actually 2 people i adored at elan. dave and Hirem. Hirem was my ULTIMATE favorite! I didnt like have a crush on him, i just REALLy trusted him, I thought he was trying to help me through the program, i thought he was like ON MY SIDE...kind of thng. I thought sometimes, he could see THROUGH me, and was seeing my pain. I thought, he felt bad when mis-treatment was going on, but couldnt verbalize it...I thought Dave was like that too... One day, Dave really pissed me off...I saw through him and realized exactlly what someone on here wrote about him, i dont remember a name, but it was something in terms like he only wanted a pay check. or maybe was scared to speak up bc we were gonna come and go...I was sad...when I dipped out of elan, and wrote to Hirem like 1 yr or more later, that I was doing really well. I wrote him, I told him I have no kids am not married, am very independent, I told him I was going to college, in honors classes, and was modeling and in films and had an excellent relationship with my family.and on and on and he never wrote back. it was like i disappeared in to thin air. I f he ever really cared about me, or was proud of me, he would have written back.

E7HaterJe - Whoever you are I just wanted you to know about Hiram. He is  a good man, and if you wrote to him he did not get it. I have emailed him sevral times over the years, and he has always gotten back to me. He also took a weekend to come to Boston and visit me. He recently had a second child and took his free weekend to spend with me. With Hiram there was no bullshit, jst the truth. Smoke and Mirrors all around at Elan, but not with Hiram, he mosy likely moved or something, I am sure he would have written you back. By the way, who are you?
