This is probably the only person to work at Elan that was normal.Dave was a real cool director and was honest and never pulled any of that bullshit with residents like the rest of them.
I feel bad that Dave has to work with assholes everyday.I think he is still up at Elan.

I agree, I was fortunate enough to have him as my...I don't remember the term, but we all had a specific staff member assigned to us.  He was an approachable guy who, although following the program, didn't seem engulfed in the freakish abusive crap that tormented us all in one way or another.

Dave McVetty should be the one in charge of Elan,he is a very good man and was never abusive towards any of the residents even the ones that were totally out of control.

Dave Mcvetty definitely had the market on sanity cornered. He is one of the few staff i was sorry to say bye to when i left. Im not sure he is still there.

I was there when Dave first came to Elan -- back in 1985 or so.. he was the only staff member that seemed to honestly give a shit, and didn't seem to condone the bullshit antics of ass munchers like Tom Keppler, Ann Flynn and the other psycho -social miscreants

Thank you for pointing out the obvious, i am  aware that brian bob is dead ,Although at first i thought it was just a bunch of "i heard it through the grape vine" gossip folk type shit. I still cant beleive he got his throat cut in a park and left to die on a bench,what a way to die man. fucked up shit :scared:
