You claim responibility
The whole world knows your problems.
Your problems are still there after all your wishes come true.
Nobody gives a shit about your problems.
You realize your shrink is fucking you for an hourly rate.
You finally kill yourself.

and they all lived happily ever after.


Closing Elan is a placebo Jackie, not a cure for your ails...deal with your problems or dwell on them...its up to you.

Anon,
One point you fail to make with your hypothetical situation. That is, if Elan is closed no other child will have to live through it and find a cure for what ails them. Closing Elan is more than a "placebo" to heal the wounds of those from it's past. It's a way to prevent future abuse.
