I don?t advocate escorting. I have never at any time suggested a kid be escorted or refered to an escort service.
As for what happen to me - the problem for us wasn?t the escort. If anything he was a positive; except for that one thing - I feel sure he had more knowledge about wwasp and its true nature than he shared with me.
If a kid needs an escort, this would be a good dude to provide it; but even so, I have never one time refered a family to any escort; this dude included.
I had no problem with the idea ?back then?. I saw how practical it could be; felt such a trip would very uncomfertable for me and Nate were we to take it together; felt Nate would be much more likely to go with the flow than bitch and cuss. Felt he would be far more likely to relax and enjoy the trip - and I was right.
Even so, I did talk to Nate about going to school in Costa Rica and gave him the literature to look at; and if he had agreed I would have taken him myself. When he dicided No; I told him he might want to reconsider; as I?d like to go with him as oppossed to having him escorted. It wasn?t as if he didn?t know what I was considering; altho I?m sure he thought I was full of crap.
My opinion has done some shifting as a result of getting to know you all. I am uncomfertable with this escorting business these days and as I?ve said, willing to admit you have a point. Ginger has made a very good case against escorting mostly by pointing out how generally useless it is to force anyone into treatment. But most alarming are the reports of harsh hateful and demeaning ?abductions?.
And so, I do waver. I have had a shift in this opinion as well as others as a result of the past couple of years. So, I guess I do seem to be talking out of both sides of my mouth and stupid and gulliable and all that.
Still, I am not ready to say an escort is never a good thing. It can be. Sometimes it is. Somewtimes its awful. Much like the program business itself.

I never said that. I hadn?t actually been there, but I had seen it. I had also talked with a number of others who had been there. I had a very good impression of the place and it wasn?t compleatly wrong. Its what went on there I was uninformed of; as well as how many kids would eventually be packed in.

As for using escorts to take your son cuz you would have been "uncomfortable" ... that is a cop-out. Dress it up anyway you want, but it still comes down to the fact that you sent your kid to a program based in a foreign country that you never personally visited.
To be fair, you aren't the only parent that has done this, but there are elements to your story that don't add up (e.g. your relationship with PURE/Sue Scheff), recruiting kids for the class-action lawsuit that never happened, etc.
Guess it's all a mystery, but I wouldn't blame anybody for being skeptical as to your credibility. Hell, just trying to assess where you stand on important issues from moment-to-moment is confusing enough.

No, I am not and did not say this. But it wasn't as if I had no idea what the place is like, either.
However, its worth noting those who did actually visit had no problems with what they saw. I don't think having made the trip would have made any difference for me; as it didn't for so many others.
The decision was based on what was going on at home; but *which* program was based largely on the beauty of the location. I thought it a big plus.
There is no mystery to the circumstances of my knowing Sue Scheff and if you are unaware of whats going on with the other; then you don't need to know.
As for my credibility - keep your skepticism; and keep dreamin.

THE SPIRIT OF ELIJAH BEING RELEASED
This morning while getting ready to run some errands, the Holy Spirit
began speaking to me.
He said, the day is upon you, upon my servants, which has been long
awaited.
The psychics of the day are at the forefront, deceiving and being
deceived. They flaunt their powers to the world claiming they know
secret things, the hidden things. I declare they know nothing.
They prophesy lies to intrigue and entice. They are ensnared by the
words of their mouths. They have risen to a position of popularity in
the world, cunning and crafty, snatching souls into the grip of the
enemy.
Just as it was in the days of Moses, my servant, when I sent him unto
Pharaoh, and Pharaoh's wizards and sorcerers put on display their
falsehoods, demonstrating trickery, professing to be wise, they became
fools.
And just as it was in the days of Elijah, when I sent him to Ahab and
all the false prophets rose to prominence at Jezebel's command, prophets
of Baal, prophesying lies, whose end was death.
My prophets were sent to confront the evil reign of their day, and
destroy it by the power of my word.
Mighty men of faith, trusting me with their very lives, in the face of
opposition, they became bold in my strength.
Throughout the generations, evil has rose to great proportions, but only
for a time, only for a season.
Just as now, the magnitude of the voice of the evil one has gained in
notoriety and is commonplace amongst the people. Now shall I release
unto my servants the spirit of Elijah.
You shall walk in a greater level of anointing than you've known, a
greater level of power than you've known, a greater level of authority
than you've known, a greater level of discernment than you've know.
Expect it!
I have prepared you for such a time as this, and the time is now that it
shall come forth upon my prophets and my servants.
Many of you are being sought out even now, just as in the days of old,
with one hearing a word, and then tells, there is a prophet over there
who can tell you the words of God.
This is just the beginning. Many shall come to you seeking answers,
seeking direction, seeking a word. Stay ready and expect it! I shall
give you the words to speak.
Declare my words, prophesy my words, shout them from the housetops. It
is confrontation time. It is time for my prophets, my servants to rise
to the forefront, confronting the false prophets, the psychics, the
witches and wizards.
Do not back down and do not fear, for I am with you, just as I was with
Moses and Elijah. I will not leave you, and I will show forth my power
in even greater measure than that in days of old.
You cannot understand it's magnitude, but I say unto you, receive it.
Walk in faith, hearkening to my words, and allow me to demonstrate my
greatness through you and before you.
I will confirm my words out of your mouths with signs and wonders the
world has never known. The things I've placed in your hearts that you've
only dreamed of, shall now come forth and you shall walk in it.
Just as I brought to nought the sorcerers and soothsayers, the wizards
and false prophets, exposing their lies and the deceitfulness of their
hearts, so shall I do again.
The enemy was permitted for a time to flaunt his lying wonders, but only
for a season and for a reason.
Now I shall flow through you, my prophets, with the spirit of Elijah
upon you, to demonstrate my power in the earth, with mighty
manifestations, signs and wonders eye hath not seen.
Expect miracles! Expect signs and wonders!
Expect the phenomenal! I say to you, expect it!
I shall plunder the enemy's camp, and free my people from bondage, with
a strong hand. I will once again show myself as the one and only true
God, who loves His creation.
My church shall once again be a lighthouse to the hurting and broken,
the bruised and beaten. They will hear that there's bread in the house,
and come to eat and live.
I will take the yoke of bondage from off their necks, and it shall be
destroyed because of the anointing.
Seek me, press into me, hearkening to my every word, with diligence, as
a soldier awaiting the call to launch out for war.
I AM the Lord your God, and I say to you, rise up as mighty men of
valor, and move out in the spirit of Elijah, for I release it unto you
this day.
THE DAY FOR RESTORATION
From the heart of the Father to the heart of His people the Lord
expressly gives a warm welcome that you envelope yourself in His love
and grace and that you visit the lost as if they were your very own
family.
Love your neighbor as you would your very own family, but in this day
and time many families are not close, because the enemy was allowed to
steal, kill and destroy relationships, because they were not grounded in
the love of the Father. But I tell you today to not allow it to happen
any longer.
Be open and ready for the Lord is pouring out His grace in restoring all
that the enemy had set out to do. And that includes relationships
between those in the body of Christ that had been divided through the
deception of the enemy in pouring out heresies, yes, lies, doctrines
that were from demons, and legalistic encounters to control and
manipulate My people.
Yes, this is the day for restoration. My heart cry is that we be one as
I and My Father are one.
Yes, join together in My truth. Cry out for Truth and restoration, for
unity, for without it you will not make it against the enemy of your
soul. Join together, My beloved, and open your hearts that I may teach
you even the basics of My word once again to gain a sure foundation.
Yes, this will be a refresher course in My word, and we will breeze
through this undoing the lies of the evil one and gaining the knowledge
that had been lost in the turmoil, and you will come out stronger than
before, and we will build upon a sure foundation of My truth and love,
and we will go out and spread the gospel of My love to those I gave My
life for.
Be ready for a breakthrough, for the revelation of My light, for the
purging to begin, for I AM pouring out My fire and My rain, and I AM
readying My people to go out to reap the harvest like never before.
For this is the time I AM pouring out My grace and glory and My love
upon My Bride, and I AM restoring all that the cankerworm has destroyed,
and the palmerworm, and the locusts. For you have no part of the curse
that is poured out on the disobedient.
I have promised you life abundant. And those who have suffered great
loss and have endured long, this is the time I will reward you for your
faithfulness for staying by My side.
You have looked past the loss with the hope and expectancy of
restoration. And the promise is yours. For I AM the Lord of the
breakthrough and of new beginnings.
Let the past melt away. Keep your eyes on tomorrow, the day of new
beginnings. Look past the threshold and see the open door of blessings
for it is yours to take for you and your household, for the nations.
Reach out and take what is yours.
All My promises to you are yes and Amen if you hold first in your life
My will and My kingdom, if you will reach out to the lost, and love your
families.
Yes, if you meet My conditions, you will prosper and be in health as
your soul prospers. And as you step out and ground yourself in My word,
your joy and peace will return, and My love will flow like a river
through you.
Yes, this is the day that My people rise up and be all that I've called
them to be.....a worshipper, a warrior, one that will not settle for
less than the best. My will be done, My kingdom come, on earth as it is
in heaven!
APOSTOLIC POWER- PRESSING IN FOR A NEW PENTECOST

Acts 2:1-4 - When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all
with one accord ... and suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a
rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were
sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire ... and
they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.
The Kingdom of God can only successfully invade the dominion of Satan
when we are endued with power from on high. You must have spiritual
power to advance the Kingdom.
How did they do it? Jesus warned the disciples of their need to wait and
receive the power of the Holy Spirit: "Behold, I send the Promise of My
Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued
with power from on high." (Luke 20:49).
As they met in the Upper Room for ten days, their only agenda was to
pray and wait on God. They knew that they must have more. They were not
leaving with anything less!
The Outpouring Of The Spirit
Holy Spirit brings the government of God. What is often overlooked is
that the Acts 2 outpouring was what birthed the early church. Holy
Spirit is more than a phenomenon of fire and wind or just a renewal
movement - the Third Person of the Trinity invaded the Upper Room to
establish the Kingdom of God!
Being baptized by the Holy Spirit was more than just speaking in
tongues. The enemy has so religiously minimized this experience by
convincing us that if we speak our five or ten words in tongues, then we
have arrived.
Unfortunately, often we still do not have apostolic power! Holy Spirit
is not just tongues. In Acts 2:8-11, He brought a miracle of languages
with over fifteen languages being heard by the crowds. People heard the
testimony of Jesus, but in their own native tongue.
The Great Commission for souls was birthed. The wind and fire of the
Spirit drew a huge crowd who then heard Peter preach his first sermon.
This holy tornado of the Spirit yielded 3,000 souls that day.
For the first time, Peter was endued with power and moved in apostolic
authority with the power of the Holy Spirit backing his words. Signs and
wonders followed the apostles and churches spread like wild fire (Acts
2:41-47).
Summary
Do you want to walk in this fullness of apostolic authority? When you
speak, does the power of conviction pierce hearts? How do we get this
great outpouring of the Holy Spirit? We must have an even greater
desperation.
Today, the Lord is calling for another Pentecost! Imagine the power of
Acts synergistically combined with the astonishing signs and wonders of
Exodus!
This is the hour we are approaching as we near the second coming of
Christ. God is going to explode in an expression of power that we have
never seen before! Are you desperate for a fresh baptism of fire from
the Holy Spirit?
Prayer: Lord will you burn in me a holy desperation to move in apostolic
authority with signs and wonders following. I want to move in the Holy
Spirit and establish the government of God on this earth!
